The Five Paths of Conventional Financial “Freedom”

inancial gurus and influencers around the world passionately claim there are five strategies to financial freedom. We are told to follow their guidance and that doing so will bring value to our lives, which is partly true. Something is usually better than nothing. Each of these five strategies draws a different audience based on individual history, concerns, fears, and hopes. After all, anything promoting good money concepts are worthy of our attention. However, there is always a good, better, and best choice available. Which do you want for your life?
In the Wealth Equation of Exponential Growth, y = a(1 + r)x, there are five components as well: (a), (1), (+), (r), and (x). Each component has a simple, elegant purpose in delivering some form of financial freedom. Let me emphasize that: SOME FORM OF FINANCIAL FREEDOM. That’s why we are all attracted to at least one of the five components. Each one promotes an aspect of the Wealth Equation. We all have our own biases and gravitate to at least one of the five that resonates with our understanding and beliefs about money. Wealth is one of the purest forms of energy, so when we have any part of it, it makes us feel good. That may be true, but achieving the fullness of its potential requires all five ingredients. 55
