Cody Ludwig City of Covington Councilwoman
Like many people on this list, I wear many hats that I am proud of. In a professional capacity, I work as a client relations manager for Bienville Capital Group, a wealth management firm. In addition, I also work for locally famous photographer Heidi Bowers as her sales consultant and marketing manager. As a civil servant, I am a councilwoman for Covington’s City Council, representing District D. I am a graduate of Leadership St. Tammany and have served on several non-profit boards and committees that I am proud of. In 2016, my husband and I started, and continue to chair, the Covington Celtic Club and put on the city’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Civically, the thing I am most proud of, however, is my husband’s and my formation of Oxtoberfest, which is an umbrella of several beer & food-related events that benefit the Covington Unit Boys & Girls Club and have raised over $50,000 the past 5 years. A Covington native and graduate of St. Scholastica Academy, I hold a Bachelors from LSU in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I still have a great relationship with SSA and act as an alumni ambassador as often as I can. I am married to my best friend and high school sweetheart, Nick, and together we have 2 beautiful young daughters. I’ve learned over the years that one person can make a large impact on a small community with hard work and passion. I love my town and neighborhood and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve in both a formal and informal capacity.
