Volunteer Award Recipients
RENEE “COLEY” CLYDE AWARD RECIPIENTS
The Renee “Coley” Clyde Inspirational Volunteer Award was created in 2018 in memory of a special member of EB’s community, and an incredible parent volunteer. The goal of the award is to honor and recognize a parent or family whose dedication to EB serves as a source of inspiration for our community, as did its namesake. We are thrilled to announce that the recipients of the 2020–2021 award are Stephanie Walton and Natasha Boissier.
STEPHANIE WALTON
Throughout the years, Stephanie has been a big fan of EB’s and one of its most vocal cheerleaders. Since her family’s start at EB in 2008, Stephanie quickly jumped into the volunteering mix, starting off as a Room Rep and then joining the Annual Fund team in what would become a yearly tradition. Her larger than life personality, fiery passion and enthusiastic charm made her an irresistible volunteer, who could pull you in and make you joyfully agree to just about anything she asked. Stephanie took supporting the school seriously (but always with fun at heart), and played a huge role in the school’s development efforts, as a Trustee Co-Chair of the Board’s Development Committee for three years, chairing the Annual Fund for numerous years, and one of the best last day campaign callers around. Stephanie was always the first to generously offer her home for EB events, host parties for the auction, and sign up for wherever help was needed. She brought her radio and television experience to emcee many galas, as well as rock the stage as the lead singer for EB parent band Crisis during countless World Celebrations, Marchés, and parties. We are so thankful for the many years of fun, liveliness, laughter, and dedication Stephanie shared with EB!
NATASHA BOISSIER
Early on, Natasha decided that becoming involved with EB as a supporter and volunteer was one of the best ways to support her children’s experience. She joined the PA as the Scrips and Retail Rebates Chair and then signed on as an Annual Fund volunteer for six years to help raise critical funds for EB. Her role in creating and chairing the Locavore table at World Celebrations started a yearly tradition to celebrate local foods. Later on, Natasha brough energy and excitement to her role as Marché Chair and helped create some of the brightest memories for our families: endless entertainment via the petting zoo, acrobats performing on the lawn, beach-themed fun for all, and delicious eats from local vendors. In 2020, Natasha organized a wonderful sociallydistanced graduation, ensuring our 8th graders felt celebrated and special even amidst a pandemic. We are grateful to Natasha for her innumerable contributions, her positive attitude, her generosity of spirit, and all the many ways she supports EB, big and small. Thank you!
