TAKING OFF WITH TAKEOUT According to the 2022 “State of the Restaurant Industry” Report from the National Restaurant Association, offpremises business remains a significant opportunity for restaurant operators, particularly while on-premises may be soft. As consumers continue to increase their demand for off-premises dining, restaurant operators appear to be all too willing to oblige. A total of 41% of fine dining establishments and nearly half of casual dining say off-premises will be their best chance of sales growth.
