OUR HISTORY What began as a small agricultural construction company, has grown into Western Canada’s largest and most trusted name in precast concrete construction. At the turn of the millennium, Dan Haan embarked on an adventure that would change the building industry forever. Dan understood the high maintenance costs of conventional structures and dared to find a better solution. Taking a leap of faith, he started a construction company with a vision to offer superior agricultural buildings constructed from concrete.
Dan Haan founded Eagle Builders. Specialized in agriculture. Concrete was cast on-site using mobile casting beds.
2000
At first, our precast was manufactured on-site using mobile casting beds rather than in a manufacturing facility. In 2002 we leased a 10,000 sq ft building for manufacturing precast concrete panels. Shortly after moving into their new manufacturing facility, Dan passed away. Barely old enough to vote, these young kids stepped up to the plate to run their dad’s company and continue his vision. Calling every contact available to them, they started to build the business one project at a time.
Eagle Builders was constructing quality concrete structures with service that went beyond expectations. Since 2002 we have hit a variety of exciting milestones, and we look forward to many more to come. Our dedication to our people, our community, our quality and our services has been the driving force behind the rapid growth and success you see today.
As production continued in the 10,000 SQ FT manufacturing facility, word spread of the young company.
Bought our first 40 Ton RT Crane for installing concrete panels.

Began designing and manufacturing CPCI Certified infrastructure products and custom precast components.

Manufactured our first Deflected Strand Precast Concrete NU Girder.

Eagle Builders awarded the contract for Western Canada’s largest precast concrete parkade located in Vancouver, BC.
Expanded main manufacturing facility by 36,100 SQ FT. Added a second manufacturing facility of 47,505 SQ FT for hollowcore production.
OUR OWNERSHIP Dennis Haan, Craig Haan and Kevin Kooiker own and operate Eagle Builders. They share the responsibilities of executive decision making while each having a unique focus over daily operations.
As owners, Dennis, Craig and Kevin are responsible for overseeing the company’s health and safety program.

Craig desires to lead a life built on strong ethical and moral values that will set an example for his family and colleagues. While away from the office you may find Craig skiing, on a date with his wife, coaching hockey or volunteering within the community.
Kevin holds his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Lethbridge and has his PQS level 2 certification. Kevin started his construction career with Eagle Builders in 2004 and has been the managing director of the factory since 2009.
Craig started his career working for his father at a young age and has worked in every facet of the business from manufacturing to installation to sales. Craig holds his Mobile Crane Red Seal Certification, Class 1 Drivers License and has constructedeach type of building that we have the pleasure of manufacturing and constructing.
Kevin and his wife Becky have been happily married since 2005 and have four children. Kevin and Becky are active members within their community and are involved in many local organizations and community groups.
Weekends are most often for family. Whether its travelling to new world destinations, camping, jet boating, quadding or snowboarding, you’ll find Dennis and his family doing these activities together. With over 20 years of experience in precast concrete construction, Dennis has built every type of structure including agricultural buildings, commercial buildings, industrial warehousing, multi-family and multilevel senior facilities. Dennis and his wife Mel have been happily married since 2006 and have four children. Dennis and Mel are active members within their community and support many local organizations and charities that are involved in the prosperity of their community.
Craig and his wife Kim have been happily married since 2005 and have three beautiful children together. Craig and Kim are active members within their church and community.
Kevin is looking forward to the future growth of boh the company and the people who work for Eagle Builders.

Our manufacturing process includes strict production standards and rigorous testing practices to ensure that all our products not only meet industry standards but exceed them. We operate CPCQA certified manufacturing facilities with certifications in Architectural, Bridge, and Commercial Structural Products: A1, BA4 and CA4.

CHARIS VILLAGE RESIDENTIAL Lacombe, Alberta 63,414 usable sq ft 19,233 SQ FT parking garage 46 units 8 months construction Charis Village is a not for profit organization dedicated to providing seniors housing for faith based residents in the City of Lacombe. To meet the growing demand, Charis Village required a new structure that could be designed and constructed quickly. Eagle Builders was engaged to design, manufacture and build the fourstory complex consisting of 46-units and a below grade parking garage. Aside from the roof, the entire structure is fabricated from precast concrete including the parkade, walls and floors.
SYNC 111 Edmonton, Alberta 221,750 usable sq ft 1 storey underground garage 222 units 14 months to complete Sync 111 is a purpose built 222 unit rental project located steps away from MacEwan University in Edmonton, AB. Comprised of 7 total storeys, (with one underground), Sync 111 provides the ultimate flexibility for suite layout in future generations. If renovations need to be made, the column-less design of the building makes it very easy. Sync 111 features a resident’s lounge and games room, a business center, a fullyequipped fitness center, secured bike storage with wash/repair stations, an expansive rooftop courtyard patio with dedicated BBQ’s, heated underground secured parking, and so much more.
CENTURY GARDENS Edmonton, Alberta 272,800 usable sq ft 278 units 2460 hollowcore panels 8 months to erect shell Century Gardens is a 7 storey purposebuilt rental community in one of the most accessible and lively areas in Edmonton. Eagle Builders provided design-build contracting services, precast concrete fabrication and installation. Eagle was chosen for this project to ensure the building would be completed with quality and speed while understanding the client’s goals and cost expectations. As the lot was unserviced, we created solutions to move forward with the construction of off site services/utilities such as power, gas and private roads. We were further able to strengthen the design by designing load-bearing hollowcore precast concrete corridor walls.

Each building features unique and specially cast sloped washroom floor slabs with built in shower and toilet drains and steel stud load bearing hallway walls to eliminate the need for columns. Eagle Builders took care to introduce larger windows to the suites and a sit-onledge to provide much better views for residents.

POINTS WEST LIVING Red Deer, Alberta 136,303 usable sq ft 6 storey facility 589 insulated precast panels 5 months construction Points West Living is an assisted living seniors home with locations in Alberta and British Columbia. For the expansion of the Red Deer location, Eagle Builders design-assisted, manufactured and constructed the new 6-storey facility. Because the owner chose to build with our non-combustible structural package, we were able to increase safety and comfort for its occupants, establish cost certainty very early in the design, and greatly reduce the construction schedule and risk.
