The main face and voice behind the brand, Mayyan Jaffar’s designs take shape in her creative mind, drawing inspiration from her love of nature, fashion, culture, and vintage 1950’s cinema with its iconic and timeless famous actresses. Driven by a passion for gemstones, she is deeply involved in the manufacturing process. She meticulously selects the best material and precious stones for each of her creations. Curves, the first of her two main collections, is inspired by a woman’s inherent femininity, sensual radiance, power, and privilege. It features silhouettes that are bold yet understated, and an edgy feminine vibe, culminating in an overall look that is both raw and elegant. Inspired from the authentic Art Deco fine jewellery, Mayyan created a unique collection with stylized motifs, vibrant colors, and geometric shapes that capture the spirit of this famously flamboyant period.
