La DoubleJ has opened a flagship boutique, The Lighthouse, in a five-story Upper East Side townhouse. The vibrant space is conceived as an aesthetic and energy-elevating hub for the Milan-based brand’s universe of ready-to-wear, accessories, jewelry and homeware. At the entrance, the walls are wrapped from floor to ceiling in a gold-flecked silk wallpaper in a custom site-specific pattern by La DoubleJ’s in-house design team, alive with sacred symbols conceived not just as decoration, but also resonant energetic codes. The entire room radiates light through a customdesigned suspended chandelier featuring more than 110 hand-blown bohemian glass bulbs. ladoublej.com

Mary Lou’s Miami

Tod’s has launched the Marlin project, a collection inspired by the legendary boat once owned by John F. Kennedy. It pays tribute to a lifestyle of simple and authentic pleasures; a day at sea, a conversation among friends, the slow rhythm of summer where conviviality meets natural and timeless elegance. This relaxed and understated spirit bridges the Italian lifestyle, of which Tod’s has always been a global ambassador, and the refined yet relaxed attitude typical of Hyannisport and New England. Marlin itself has strengthened that bond, as for more than 20 years, the boat has sailed the waters of Capri, its new home. The collection’s pieces and accessories, designed for both men and women, capture this balance between sophistication and spontaneity. Nautically inspired materials and details engage in dialogue with leather, Tod’s signature material, creating products suited for life at sea and outdoors. The palette is rendered in shades of green and cream, a direct homage to the colors of the boat that inspired the project. The collection includes the Marlin Bomber jacket, Marlin loafer, striped Greca belt, a canvasand-leather bag that can be personalized with playful charms and a silk scarf depicting the Marlin. tods.com
