Duboismutombo

Seattle, United States

My name is Dubois Mutombo, and I'm an international student from D.R. Congo who studies interior design at Bellevue College in the United States of America since 2020. However, I've always been passionate about painting and drawing, ever since I was young. Art has been my way of expressing myself and communicating my emotions to the world. But as I grew older, I started to realize the impact that the art industry can have on the environment. That's why I've become committed to using sustainable materials that have less of an impact on people and the world around me. For me, creating art isn't just about the end result. It's about the process and the materials that I use to bring my ideas to life. I choose to use recycled paper and organic paints made from natural pigments because I know that they have a smaller environmental footprint than traditional art supplies. By doing so, I hope to inspire others to consider the impact of their own artistic practices and make more sustainable choices. Being environmentally conscious isn't just something that I do in my art; it's a way of life for me. I believe that every small action counts, and by using sustainable materials in my artwork, I'm doing my part to protect the planet. I hope that through my art, I can also raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire others to make more eco-friendly choices in their own lives. Overall, my passion for art and my commitment to sustainability have become intertwined. By using sustainable materials in my artwork, I'm not only creating something beautiful, but I'm also contributing to a better world for future generations.
