Did you know that former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, is a stepfather to Adetokunbo TobunAdegbenwa? Also, in case you didn’t know, she is the only woman, among 14 aspirants who vied for the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2015 guber ticket in Lagos State. She comes from a political family. Her father, Chief Adekunle Tobun, was a governorship aspirant in the Third Republic, who died a few weeks ago. Tokunbo, as she’s fondly called, is also the daughter of the late Major Moji Adekunle-Obasanjo, which makes her Obasanjo’s step-daughter. Tokunbo is the founder of Moji Adekunle Women Leadership Foundation and currently serving as Senior Special Assistant to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola on School Environmental Advocacy.
Chief Remi Adiukwu-Bakare is a top society lady who had contributed, immensely, to the partisan politics of Lagos State. Between 2009 and late 2011, she was everywhere, both in the media and the social scene. There was a time, she was alleged to be romantically linked to the ‘James Bond’ of Nigerian movie industry, Saheed Balogun. In fact, rumours had it then that she was part of the reason why Balogun’s wife, Fathia left him, but, the actor later cleared the air in the media that she was just his godmother. But, for some time, this very delectable society lady has been ‘missing in action’, especially, from social events and political party campaigns. One wonders where she could be.

According to the rumour mill, Alhaji Ganiyu Shagaya had been on the sick bed for some time and Bola, who bore four children for him and still bears his name, had, allegedly, abandoned him.
