Dr. Marlon Burton

Dr. Marlon Burton is an award-winning educator and administrator with more than 18 years of experience in secondary and higher education. He started as a public school math teacher in Yonkers, NY, where his passion for education led him to become Assistant Principal of Mathematics. As a middle school principal, he helped close the achievement gap, empowering students to graduate with outstanding results in New York State Regents Exams. Dr. Marlon Burton holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and several Master’s degrees, including an MBA in Health Care Management from Columbia University. He currently teaches as a visiting professor at several universities, including Manhattan College and Kean University, while continuing his studies in Organizational Leadership.
