Following this, he pursued further education in internal medicine, earning an MD in General Internal Medicine in 1991. This specialization deepened his understanding of medical diagnostics and patient care. In 1992, Dr. Jacob moved to the UK, where he worked as a Senior House Officer and Medical Registrar at Letterkenny General Hospital in Ireland. While there, he completed his MSc in Cardiology with a thesis on thrombolysis in acute myocardial infarction, a significant contribution to the cardiology field. This experience also helped him build a solid clinical foundation and gain valuable international exposure. 1996, Dr. Jacob relocated to the United States to continue his medical training. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Then, he pursued a cardiology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York Presbyterian Hospital. Jose Jacob MD is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Adult Cardiovascular Disease.
