Dr. Janet Chollet

Dr. Janet Chollet has forged a career at the intersection of clinical medicine, translational research, and therapeutic innovation, bringing decades of experience to her work as a board-certified obstetrician–gynecologist and biotech co-founder. As Chief Medical Officer of Procyrn LLC, she guides the development of sustained-release biologics and reformulated antivirals designed to address unmet needs in maternal–fetal health, neuroinflammation, and HPV-related cervical disease. Her approach reflects a steady focus on practical, science-driven solutions that support patient well-being. Over more than thirty years in academic and clinical practice, she has contributed to women’s health through research, teaching, and direct patient care at institutions such as Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the University of Pittsburgh. She holds three U.S. patents in drug-delivery technologies and has played key roles in advancing multiple early-stage therapeutic programs.
