Rev. Ralph S. Steele, Oct. 1, 2016, in Valparaiso, Ind., at the age of 92. He was a member of Men’s Hall Association, served on the DePauw Board of Trustees from 1964-73 and received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from DePauw in 1974. He was a minister for Methodist churches in Indiana and served as Terre Haute District Superintendent. His last ministry was at First United Methodist Church in Valparaiso, from which he retired in 1989. He was a member of Rotary International and twice named a Paul Harris Fellow.
