42 Community News Ferndown PROBUS Club Ferndown, West Moors, Ashley Heath, St. Ives, St. Leonards, West Parley and District PROBUS is a club for retired men. The Ferndown branch meets on the fi rst Wednesday of each month at Dudsbury Golf Club, Ferndown, commencing at 12 noon. Meetings comprise a three-course luncheon followed by a talk, on a diverse range of subjects, given by invited Speakers. We also hold a coff ee morning at the same venue on the second Wednesday of each month for members and their partners. Social gatherings are arranged throughout the year, such as outings to places of interest, restaurant lunches/dinners and trips supporting local events. New members will be made most welcome.
