WASHINGTON, DC — On Wednesday, April 2nd, the Trump Administration announced its latest round of tariffs. Declaring that foreign trade and economic practices have created a national emergency, President Donald Trump used his authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 (IEEPA) to impose a 10% tariff on all countries, as well as higher, reciprocal tariffs on those countries with which the United States has the largest trade deficits. ➤ Turn to Trump, page 12
