RECOGNIZING LEADERS AC ROSS THE GLOBAL WEALTH MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY THROUGH THE Family Wealth Report AWARDS PROGRAM

The Thirteenth Family Wealth Report Awards 2026

STEPHEN HARRIS CEO, FamilyWealth Report
It is with great pride that we present the highlights of the twelfth annual Family Wealth Report Awards, a landmark event held this May at the Mandarin Oriental in New York. This prestigious gathering brought together the very best in North American family wealth management — a community defined not only by expertise but by deep-rooted relationships and a spirit of collaboration.
This year’s awards reflect a sector undergoing dynamic evolution, marked by increasing diversity, innovation, and a growing sense of identity among practitioners. The record number of nominations stands as testament to the outstanding work being done across the industry, and the independent judging panel faced an exceptionally high standard in selecting this year’s winners.
Beyond recognizing excellence, the awards serve as a vital moment of connection — an opportunity for peers to celebrate one another’s achievements and to strengthen the bonds that make this industry so unique. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all winners and shortlisted nominees, and we are deeply grateful to our commercial partners for their continued support.
As the family wealth landscape continues to evolve, we remain committed to honoring the individuals and firms who shape its future with integrity, innovation, and dedication.
North America’s wealth sector was buffeted in the immediate aftermath of the pandemic, but latest data — for 2023 — from Capgemini showed an upward trend resumed. The population of HNW individuals rose 7.1 per cent in 2023; total wealth of this group rose 7.2 per cent, helped by rising markets. The percentage gain in HNW individual numbers beat growth for other global regions.
This is an industry wrestling with multi-trillion-dollar wealth transfer, the impact of digital technology like AI, regulation, cost pressures on business models, and as we see right now, market volatility. Two years ago, failures and rescues of banks reminded advisors why strong balance sheets and smart risk management matter.
Large banking groups such as JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Citigroup, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, BNY
and Northern Trust are more dominant than ever. Scale counts, but so does the boutique. Large regional banks with a large presence, such as Key Bank, flourish if they get strategy right. There’s been continued M&A consolidation in the RIA and multi-family offices space; private equity money and other sources tap into it. And overseas buyers are in the mix, as in the Middle East involvement in the go-private move of Canada’s CI Financial.
The breadth of award categories reflects the complexity of a sector that must provide bespoke solutions to varied client needs, including work around healthcare, concierge, family dynamics, physical and cybersecurity, and more.
This is a sector that must find and nurture talent, including those not traditionally associated with banking and finance. A rising generation of wealth holders look for tech solutions, rapid responses, and new ideas.

The Family Wealth Report Awards 2026 judging process was guided and assisted by a panel of independent experts, each of whom has been actively involved in the wealth management industry for many years and have an in-depth knowledge of the North America sector.
Independence, integrity and genuine insight are the watchwords of the judging process with the judging panels made up of some of the industry’s top trusted advisors and bankers.

The judges were split into three groups, dependent on their industry; a panel of trusted advisors were responsible for judging the private banking categories; a panel of private bankers judges the trusted advisor categories; and new for this year we had a specialist group of tech experts judging the technology categories. This was to ensure that commercially sensitive information was kept confidential and conflicts of interest were avoided.

From day-to-day financial oversight to long-term estate planning, we bring everything together under one strategy. Through coordinated tax, accounting, advisory and family office support, we bring clarity, responsiveness, and efficiency to every decision, helping clients preserve wealth, support future generations, and simplify their financial lives. Learn more at anchinprivateclient.com .

Anchin is a partner-owned accounting and advisory firm with over 100 years of experience serving privately-held businesses, investment funds, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices. Anchin’s Private Client Group provides integrated tax, trust and estate, and advisory services to help clients preserve wealth across generations and achieve long-term goals.
What role has collaboration — either internally or with external partners — played in your success?
Collaboration is central to everything we do. Internally, we work closely across disciplines to ensure clients receive guidance tailored to their needs. As clients’ needs are diverse, working seamlessly across tax, trusts and estates, gifting, real estate, art and collectibles, international tax, and business advisory is critical when supporting families with complex needs.
Externally, we work closely with attorneys, investment advisors, family office professionals, and other trusted advisors. While many issues first appear on our “desk,” the best client outcomes often stem from discussions with other advisors. We view ourselves as part of a broader ecosystem and value collaborating with professionals who share a commitment to serving clients thoughtfully and strategically.
Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving?
Our team strategically approaches complex, highly personal engagements where both technical expertise and interpersonal skills are critical. Recently, a multi-generational UHNW family faced a significant transition. Their financial picture, spanning multiple business entities, real estate holdings, and a significant art collection, required planning to adapt to evolving family dynamics. While the technical scope included tax, philanthropy, and trust and estate planning, the broader strategy
focused on aligning these elements with the family’s goals — caring for loved ones, preserving wealth, and supporting meaningful causes.
We took a holistic, tailored approach, coordinating across specialties while maintaining a consistent relationship with the family. We guided them through planning decisions while also creating space for conversations around legacy, governance, and communication. In parallel, we steered the family through key decisions at emotionally charged moments, ensuring they were not only tax-efficient but reflective of their values.
Situations like these are representative of our work: no two families are alike, but many share aspirations around legacy and values. Whether advising a private equity principal, a real estate family, or someone navigating divorce or loss, we combine technical knowledge with a personalized approach.
How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?
At Anchin, we emphasize mentorship and open communication, creating an environment where people feel supported to grow. Investing in our people promotes strong retention and continuity on client engagements, resulting in support teams with deep technical expertise and institutional knowledge of family priorities.
Our professionals care deeply about helping clients and take pride in their work. Many of our client relationships span generations, enabling us to serve as trusted partners through important milestones in clients’ lives, whether joyous or challenging. Our impact extends beyond the balance sheet, as financial decisions can influence family harmony and require tax-efficient strategies aligned with family priorities. We encourage curiosity, excellence, and a client-first mindset, while recognizing the importance of teamwork.

Family offices navigate complex, interwoven financial and personal priorities. Our bespoke risk management solutions transcend conventional insurance coverage — offering tailored, comprehensive protection designed to uphold family legacies — today and for generations to come. aonprivateriskmanagement.com

Aon Private Risk Management (APRM) offers custom insurance and risk management solutions for successful individuals and families, addressing risk and exposure beyond traditional insurance coverage. Guided by deep industry knowledge and a client-first approach, APRM provides thoughtful advice, valuable protection and the highest level of service to help clients navigate an evolving risk landscape with confidence.
Where do you draw inspiration for innovation — within the wealth industry or beyond it?
Jason Ott: We start by listening closely to our clients, using those insights to identify emerging trends and evolving needs. Much of our inspiration comes from within Aon, particularly how we leverage data, analytics and technology across the firm to enhance the client experience.
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
Don Poster: The Aon Property Risk Analyzer is a decision-support tool that turns complex exposure data into clear, comparable risk insights so clients can make better choices about their property portfolios. It helps aggregate and analyze location-level data to show how different risk scenarios, limits, retentions and program structures impact potential loss and volatility. This supports decisions on how much limit to buy, how to structure layers and where to prioritize risk engineering or capital deployment.
Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving?
Don Poster: We helped a multi-generational family reduce their total premium by more than 20%, saving them over $1.25 million annually. They had a highly complex risk profile spanning multiple households and nearly $4 billion in assets, and their previous insurance program was fragmented across several carriers, creating inefficiencies, gaps in coverage and rising costs. Our team brought together specialists across disciplines to conduct a comprehensive audit and risk review, identifying opportunities to simplify and strengthen the program. We restructured key components to enhance protection while reducing cost, and we engaged leading specialty carriers to ensure best-in-class coverage.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
Don Poster: The impact of climate change on property portfolios is not slowing down. Due to this, the future of wildfire protection is investments in community-level infrastructure. We use property risk analyzers to show the probability of loss over a 10- or 100-year horizon. This helps us advise where to take higher deductibles or self-insure based on the family’s philosophy.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
Jason Ott: We are deeply honored and so proud to be recognized! This award reflects the collective effort of our entire team and the trust our clients place in us. It reinforces our commitment to innovation and service, and we will use it as a platform to continue elevating our offerings and expanding the value we deliver to clients.

Kevin Reed Chief Revenue Officer Aquilance
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
Our most impactful innovation has been the strategic unbundling of family office services. Historically, bookkeeping and bill payment were treated as manual administrative burdens. Most wealth and accounting firms have viewed bill payment as loss leader to help the firm win other business they actually want (either tax work or investment management). We’ve transformed this function into a scalable business that serves as an extension of the advisor’s team, removes admin burdens from complex families, and provides clear financial reporting for all stakeholders.
What role has collaboration — either internally or with external partners — played in your success?
All of my career success has been built around partnerships and this is hardwired into our business model. The success of Aquilance is directly tied to how effectively we collaborate with a client’s broader ecosystem of financial/tax advisors and attorneys. We view ourselves as an extension of their team, providing the clean financial data they need to execute wealth strategies effectively.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
Clients expect advisors to deliver much more than investment management and financial planning. Family office solutions is becoming a buzz word, but it does represent what clients want.
Wealth management firms have to make it easier for advisors to seamlessly provide services like bill payment, household operations management, and tax planning.
We are actively positioning our business to meet this head-on by offering wealth management firms and advisors a turnkey solution to bookkeeping and bill payment. Our goal is to allow advisors to proactively offer our services instead of secretly hoping the client doesn’t ask them to handle some bill payments off the side of their desk.
How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organization?
I look for individuals who exhibit high emotional intelligence, an innate curiosity, and a strong sense of extreme ownership. A proactive mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity are essentials for me. To develop these future leaders, we avoid rigid hierarchies and instead give emerging talent early exposure to strategic initiatives, cross-functional projects, and high-level partner interactions. True leadership development happens when you stretch someone’s comfort zone while providing a safety net of mentorship and constructive feedback to help them succeed.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
While this is an individual honor, it’s truly a validation of our entire firm. It proves that the market recognizes the vital importance of dedicated, specialized financial administration and unbundled family office services. It serves as a powerful validation from our peers that we are on the right trajectory as we continue to scale.
Amplifying your purpose, building your wealth and securing your legacy.

Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank was named 'Best MFO Client Initiative' in recognition of a thoughtfully designed, highly differentiated program that delivers demonstrable value to clients by addressing one of the most critical — and least effectively served — needs in family wealth management: education beyond investments.
Ascent identified a persistent gap across the industry. While families often receive extensive technical advice, they are far less prepared for the human, relational, and governance challenges that shape long term wealth outcomes. In response, Ascent launched a comprehensive client education initiative specifically designed to support families through complexity, transition, and generational change.
The initiative is a multi modal learning ecosystem comprised of bi monthly virtual sessions, in person family workshops, and a recently launched self paced digital learning platform. Programming intentionally integrates financial and non financial topics, including cybersecurity, shared decision making, family communication, philanthropy, governance, and rising generation preparation. This breadth reflects a deliberate effort to align education with real client needs rather than traditional product centric models.
A defining feature of the initiative is its emphasis on trust, discretion, and peer learning. Virtual sessions are deliberately not recorded, encouraging open dialogue and candid participation. Clients are able to engage with others facing similar levels of complexity without concern about judgment or permanence — an approach that has proven essential to building meaningful engagement and psychological safety.
This design choice differentiates Ascent’s initiative within the multifamily office landscape, where education is often transactional, passive, or overly technical.
By contrast, Ascent’s program prioritizes facilitated conversation, real world application, and long term behavioral impact.
The initiative has delivered clear evidence of reach and effectiveness. Participation has grown consistently, with clients registering across sessions and a majority returning for additional programming. Advisors report that these engagements frequently lead to deeper discussions around values, governance, and communication — often extending beyond the original participants to include additional family members.
Importantly, the initiative has driven tangible behavioral outcomes. Families have reported changing how they disclose wealth to the next generation, formalizing governance practices, and seeking additional coaching to embed learnings into their family enterprise structures. These outcomes reflect not just engagement but applied impact — an essential criterion for recognition in this category.
The initiative is designed for longevity and scale. Ascent is actively evolving the program to include cohort based offerings and on demand modules that allow families to engage at their own pace while preserving the high touch, bespoke nature of the experience. This balance of scalability and personalization reflects best in class initiative design.
Ascent’s client initiative stands out for its clarity of purpose, thoughtful execution, and demonstrable impact on real client outcomes. By addressing the emotional and relational dimensions of wealth with the same rigor typically reserved for financial strategy, Ascent has delivered a program that strengthens families, deepens trust, and advances industry standards. This initiative exemplifies excellence in multifamily office service delivery and clearly merits recognition as 'Best MFO Client Initiative'

Beatrice Advisors is a registered investment adviser headquartered in New York, managing approximately $400 million in assets for entrepreneurs, multi-generational families, foundations, and institutional clients. Founded by Christina Lewis, the firm employs 12 professionals and serves 18 families and 4 institutions. Beatrice was established to redefine what a multi-family office offers, built on the belief that families require more than strong investment management. They deserve a service that connects every financial decision to purpose, structure, and the realities of life.
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently?
The most impactful thing we do is also the simplest: we quarterback. For families and foundations, complexity is constant. Attorneys, accountants, estate planners, and investment managers operate in their own capacities, without visibility into actions of others. Beatrice sits at the center, coordinating providers around shared assumptions, consistent deadlines, and a unified view of objectives. The result is holistic advice and decision-ready planning.
Coordination extends naturally into investment management. Because families measure success after taxes, we integrate tax considerations in our research, supporting customization to each of our families’ specifications. The same applies to foundation clients, though their complexity is around governance and compliance demands. In both cases, Beatrice functions as the center of complex financial perspectives.
How do you cultivate a culture that drives excellence?
Christina Lewis spent decades as a client of wealth management firms. She experienced firsthand what the industry consistently gets wrong. Her perspective lives in our service and culture. We believe professionals who have navigated complexity in their lives serve clients better than those who have only studied it. Our team reflects diversity of background, experience, and thought, and this shapes how we work, what questions we ask, and how we listen.
Culture is sustained through accountability. Client First means every Beatrice employee can point to a moment when they chose the right path over the easy one. We do not rush solutions before we truly understand a client’s needs. These are not values we aspire to, but standards we hold ourselves to.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management, and how are you positioning to meet them?
The biggest challenge facing families is not market volatility, but complexity. Tax law changes, multi-generational wealth transfer objectives, expanding public and private opportunities and a fragmented advisor landscape all require significant coordination. Beatrice was built for this. Our integrated model and quarterbacking are designed to mitigate risks related to professionals not coordinating. We are investing in our team deliberately, so as complexity increases, our clients experience simplicity.
What does winning this award mean to your firm?
For our founder, this recognition affirms that the problem she set to solve is real. For our team, it is fuel. We are early in this firm’s story, committed to growing carefully so that quality and alignment with our clients are never exchanged for scale. The award is a moment. The work is ongoing. We are grateful.

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?
There is a fundamental question we ask each and every one of our clients: “what do you want your wealth to do for you?” This question fuels our culture. BNY Wealth exclusively serves ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families; that means there’s no such thing as an average client or an average day.
These are individuals with fiercely unique goals, requiring strategies tailored to what truly matters to them. They have complex needs that require services encompassing each aspect of their financial life. Yes, part of what we offer them is the expertise that comes with being one of the nation’s largest private banks and oldest fiduciaries. But the other part, embodied in our Active Wealth planning framework, is fueled by a culture of showing up and investing time and energy into getting to know each client’s unique needs.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
Winning this award reflects the trust families place in us. It affirms the value of our proprietary approach: combining institutional discipline and resources with a boutique service model.
The BNY Wealth team is proud of these awards, honored by the appreciation of our peers, and energized by their recognition. But when your watchword is personalization, there’s no resting
on your laurels. That means the award goes on the shelf and the work continues.
Where do you draw inspiration for innovation, within the wealth industry or beyond it?
For BNY Wealth, innovation is not about novelty for its own sake; it is about applying new ideas in thoughtful, responsible ways that help families make better-informed decisions for the future.
That’s why we draw inspiration both from within our industry and beyond it. Wealth is seeing a revolution in customization, transparency, speed and integrated advice that’s driving the high bar we set for how we serve our clients.
At the same time, outside our industry, technology, data science and the seamless digital experiences that shape how people live and work are all inspiring our vision for the future of the firm. For example, our enterprise AI platform, Eliza, is accelerating insight and enabling faster, more personalized service for family office clients.
That may be why BNY was named one of Fortune’s America’s Most Innovative Companies for the third year in a row.
Family wealth is both a privilege and a responsibility. Shaped by your values, identity, and aspirations for future generations, how you manage your family's wealth for the long term is a deeply personal decision.

What does winning this award mean to your firm?
Winning this award reflects the trust our clients place in us, the strength of our investment approach, and our commitment to delivering long-term results.
At Cambridge Associates, we do more than manage investments. We help ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families preserve and grow wealth across generations, acting as stewards of their legacies. Drawing on more than 50 years of institutional investment experience, we build customized portfolios tailored to each client’s unique objectives.
What sets our OCIO offering apart is our focus on long-term partnership and our ability to bring the full depth of our global research and investment platform to every decision.
Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service?
Our work with the Fakhouri family illustrates our commitment to client service and long-term partnership. Their wealth is intended to support both future generations and a deeply personal philanthropic mission inspired by their family’s experience with multiple sclerosis. They established the STF5 Care Foundation in Jordan, which has become an important center for MS care and rehabilitation technology in the region.
For the Fakhouris, selecting an investment partner was about more than portfolio management. They wanted a trusted steward whose advice was aligned solely with their interests and grounded in a clear understanding of their long-term goals.
We manage two portfolios on their behalf: a multi-generational family portfolio focused on preserving and compounding capital,
Samantha Davidson President and Head of Global Investing Cambridge Associates

and a foundation portfolio designed to generate income to support the foundation’s ongoing work. This extends beyond asset allocation to include governance, liquidity planning, family priorities, and long-term decision-making.
What makes this relationship particularly meaningful is seeing how effective investment stewardship can support real-world impact. By helping the family structure their resources and drawing on a broader network of expertise, we have helped support an initiative that is making a genuine difference in people’s lives.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
The next five years will likely bring a more complex investment environment, shaped by geopolitical uncertainty, inflation and interest-rate dynamics, liquidity needs, and rapid technological change. In that context, three priorities stand out.
First, portfolio resilience is essential. Clients need portfolios that can perform across a range of market and economic conditions.
Second, manager selection will remain a key differentiator. As dispersion across managers and strategies increases, the ability to identify skill, avoid weak underwriting, and build thoughtful portfolios will become even more valuable.
Third, governance is increasingly important. Families and institutions are managing more complex pools of capital, often balancing multi-generational priorities, philanthropic goals, and evolving operating needs. Strong governance supports better decision-making and long-term alignment.
Our role is to help clients navigate complexity and make confident, long-term decisions.

Dennis Mangalindan Senior Director of Sales Canoe Intelligence
Winning in alternatives data management takes more than great technology. It requires a team committed to high standards, a culture focused on client outcomes, and a willingness to make difficult decisions in service of both. At Canoe, that's not an aspiration — it's how we operate every day.
How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?
By nature, startups are chaotic and unpredictable. Achieving ambitious growth requires people who thrive under pressure and innovate amid uncertainty. We look for professionals who are comfortable operating outside their comfort zones, solving problems in real time.
Culture starts with leadership. Executives must set expectations, embody them, and reinforce them consistently. By setting the pace and holding themselves and their teams to high standards, leaders create an environment focused on collective success rather than individual gain. Every decision is made with the goal of benefiting both the company and its clients, even when difficult.
Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving?
The best proof of our commitment to client service lives in our internal communications. Wealth management clients regularly tell us they see their feedback reflected in our roadmap. Recent enhancements include resizable data columns, firm-level document categorization, fund-level access controls, bulk editing, and a new cash management dashboard.
That responsiveness reflects how we build. Clients recognize it, which is why many are referring peer firms through our new Client Referral Program.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
Wealth management firms face an "innovate or die" mandate. As advisory teams break away from traditional wirehouses and acquisitions continue to consolidate the market, firms must adapt to remain competitive. We see three primary challenges:
• Effectively incorporating alternative assets into client portfolios as regulatory access expands.
• Developing holistic, family office-style services to improve client acquisition and retention.
• Leveraging AI and on-demand reporting to remain technologically relevant.
As markets grow more complex and client interactions become increasingly digital, we are positioning our platform as the unified technology foundation for modern wealth managers.
How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organization?
We identify future leaders as those who volunteer for challenging assignments and demonstrate strong time management across competing priorities. They are naturally curious and consistently look for ways to improve processes. Often, the most effective leaders are not the most outspoken but those who execute with precision while inspiring colleagues.
• Data Provider
Professional development is gradual and requires broad exposure. We give high-potential employees opportunities to tackle unique challenges and cross-functional projects, often placing them in situations where they must figure things out independently. We encourage a leadership mindset centered on forming a hypothesis, testing, iterating, and executing with confidence.
The through line across everything we've described is accountability — to our clients, our craft, and the people we're building alongside. As wealth management grows more complex and expectations rise, we believe the firms that succeed will be those that stay close to their clients, develop their people deliberately, and never stop improving.

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
d1g1t is a unified, institutional-grade wealth management platform that delivers operational efficiencies at scale for multi-family offices, advisory firms, and financial institutions. Powered by an institutional-grade performance and risk engine, d1g1t provides on-demand analytics across integrated workflows for reporting, billing, trading, compliance, portfolio management, and client engagement.
Our most impactful recent release was the re-engineering of the platform’s core data and processing layers to deliver greater speed, scalability, and resilience. The new architecture dramatically improves performance, enabling d1g1t to support millions of accounts while accelerating complex operations such as reporting, rebalancing, billing, bulk data loading, real-time calculations, and data rendering. It can also render list views containing thousands of objects in seconds.
These enhancements deliver a faster, more responsive experience for both advisors and their clients, with uninterrupted access to the enterprise platform, client portal, and mobile app. With trusted analytics and client information readily available, advisors can respond to client inquiries more quickly, provide more informed financial advice, and spend more time building meaningful client relationships.
Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving?
Our commitment to client service is best reflected in how our team works with clients through implementation and well beyond go-live. d1g1t is proud to have one of the strongest financial engineering teams in the industry, with professionals whose backgrounds span finance, technology, and operations. Many have built and launched complex systems for top-tier multi-family offices, investment banks, asset managers, and wealth management firms, bringing both technical depth and practical

industry experience to each client engagement.
One example involved a multi-family office moving to d1g1t from a competing platform. During implementation, our team identified discrepancies in the underlying data used for client reporting. Rather than migrating the information as received, we worked closely with the client to review, clean, and validate the data so calculations and reporting outputs were accurate. That reflects our service model: hands-on collaboration that builds reporting confidence and supports portfolio management workflows.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
Wealth management is entering a major transition as assets move across generations and HNW and UHNW clients expect digital-first experiences. Many firms still rely on disconnected systems that slow response times, limit scalability, and make personalization harder. d1g1t helps firms meet this shift by giving advisors real-time access to portfolio information, trusted analytics, and client-ready insights through an interactive advisor desktop, white labelled client portal, and mobile app (iOS/Android). This supports faster communication, stronger engagement, and more efficient operations as firms prepare for the intergenerational wealth transfer.
Where do you draw inspiration for innovation — within the wealth industry or beyond it?
Our clients are our greatest source of inspiration. Their priorities, challenges, and expectations shape how we build our platform and guide the capabilities we bring to market. By listening closely to the firms that use d1g1t every day, we turn real operational needs into practical enhancements across data management, portfolio oversight, reporting, trading, compliance, and client service. This keeps our product direction grounded in the realities of wealth management while helping advisors deliver a stronger client experience with greater efficiency, accuracy, and confidence.

Wealth management is facing increasing globalization, more complex investment strategies, and heightened cybersecurity and data privacy risks. Families are investing across borders and asset classes such as private equity and venture capital, requiring sophisticated structuring and diligence. At the same time, protecting sensitive data has become a critical priority.
We address these challenges by expanding our international capabilities, strengthening our cybersecurity and data privacy practice, and delivering timely thought leadership. The firm also prioritizes governance and structural integrity, recognizing that strong frameworks are essential to longterm success. This proactive approach positions us to guide clients through a rapidly evolving landscape.

Eton Advisors is a multi-family office serving UHNW families with the full resources and discipline traditionally found only in dedicated single-family offices. Our role is to be the family's first call for any need, financial or otherwise. Founded on the belief that private capital should be organized around the real lives and ambitions of the families it serves, our approach is thoughtful, disciplined, and wholly centered on helping families use their capital to support the lives they want to lead across generations.
A defining element of our work is Eton Solutions, the proprietary technology platform our founders created, now relied upon by hundreds of families globally, giving every family a single, clear view of their entire wealth picture.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
This award affirms that the model Eton has built is meeting the complex needs of ultra-high-net-worth families. The goal has always been to solve problems that matter most: preserving wealth across generations, preparing rising stewards, and giving families the confidence that everything is truly handled.
Recognition like this deepens our commitment to the families who trust us, and reminds us why the work we do every day matters. It is a reflection of our team, our clients, and the relationships we have built together over many years.
Brian Hughes President Eton Advisors Group, LLC
• Multi-Family Office (Up to and Including $2 .5 Billion AuM/AuA)
Can you share a story that best illustrates your team's commitment to client service or problem-solving?
A three-generation family with approximately $40 million in assets came to Eton with a familiar problem: their wealth structure had outgrown what any generation could fully understand or explain.
Eton designed and led a two-day family retreat for 17 participants ranging from their early 20s to late 80s. Sessions covered trust structures, goals-based investment strategy, estate planning, and philanthropic decision-making. A Family Meeting Book served as a guide during the sessions and a long-term reference. They left with shared understanding, aligned expectations, and confidence in their long-term stewardship.
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
The most consequential innovation at Eton is one that predates the firm itself. Jack Parham, Eton's CIO and one of the true pioneers of goals-based investing, built his career around the belief that private capital should be organized around the real lives and ambitions of the families it serves. He brought that philosophy to Eton as a true operating system, organizing each family's objectives into goal sleeves, each with its own time horizon, liquidity tier, and risk budget. Disciplined, deeply personal, and transformative.
Equally significant is the technology we deliver to every client through Eton Solutions, giving families consolidated reporting across custodians and entities, cash-flow tracking, governance documentation, and a fully integrated general ledger. Capabilities once accessible only to the world's largest single-family offices, brought to every family we serve.

What does being Highly Commended for 'Innovative Client Solution' at the Family Wealth Report Awards 2026 mean to Eton Solutions?
It means a great deal. Independent recognition from an organisation as respected as Family Wealth Report confirms that the direction we've committed to — embedding agentic AI directly into the accounting and operational core of family office technology — is resonating in the market. For our team, who work on genuinely difficult problems, and for the clients who trusted us to build this alongside them, it's meaningful validation.
Tell us about EtonAI™ and what sets it apart.
EtonAI™ is not a layer placed on top of existing software. It operates within the architecture of AtlasFive®, our unified accounting platform. That distinction is fundamental. When AI works on a unified system of record — one that spans the general ledger, partnership structures, trust accounting, investment reporting, and tax — it can deliver outcomes that bolt-on solutions cannot replicate.
In practice, EtonAI™ automates bank, cash, and credit-card reconciliation; generates and posts journal entries; performs IBOR—ABOR—CBOR matching with full traceability; processes payment instructions sent by email; and surfaces reconciliation exceptions with AI-proposed resolutions — all within AtlasFive's governance framework. The result for clients has been up to 70% faster close cycles and two to three times greater analyst efficiency during peak periods.
What drove the decision to build AI this way?
Our roots as a company come from understanding what it takes to actually running a complex family office are in actually running complex family offices. We understand the pressure on an accounting team at period-close. That operational reality shaped every architectural decision. We have invested over $51 million building AtlasFive®, and that investment means AI at Eton is working on a single, governed data model — not trying to simulate one.
Spending as much time as I do working directly with clients, I see this clearly: AI adoption follows the same curve as bringing on a skilled new hire. Nobody walks in on day one performing at full capacity. You might get 40—60% accuracy at the start, but with training on your historical records, your transaction patterns, your investment decisions, you build toward something genuinely powerful. The firms doing this work now will have a meaningful advantage over those who wait.
You've spoken about an "intelligence layer." What does that mean?
Every family office that wants to benefit from AI needs to build a proprietary intelligence layer — encoding how they make investment decisions, how they structure partnerships, what their governance philosophy looks like. That layer lives above whichever AI model is in use at any given time, and it's what transforms general AI capability into something deeply contextual and defensible. We make that easier because AtlasFive® already holds the relationship data, documents, and accounting records. But the encoding takes time, and the firms that started in 2023 are already seeing the difference.
What is the ambition from here?
Wealth management is moving toward intelligent orchestration — where routine activities are handled by AI agents and professionals focus on review, judgment, and governance. We have built AtlasFive® for exactly that world. The next phase is extending agent capabilities further, with richer support for the governance layer that sophisticated family offices require. The technology is more powerful than ever. Our standard remains the same: does it deliver clarity, efficiency, and confidence at scale.

Joseph Mrak III CEO Foundation Source
Foundation Source is the leading provider of philanthropic software and services, helping wealth advisors engage with donors and nonprofits effectively. We offer scalable, end-to-end solutions across a broad range of charitable giving vehicles, including private foundations, donor-advised funds (DAFs), planned giving programs, fiscal sponsorship, and endowment sub-accounting.
As of December 31, 2025, Foundation Source supports more than 5,600 private foundations, 20,000 DAF account holders, and 1,700 nonprofits. We administer over $55 billion in charitable assets and facilitate more than 190,000 grants and planned gifts annually, representing over $4 billion in charitable aid. Our integrated platform helps advisors expand their philanthropic capabilities while improving client service, operational efficiency, and compliance.
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
Recent acquisitions have significantly expanded our ability to deliver comprehensive charitable planning services. Most notably, the acquisition of Pacific Foundation Services (PFS) strengthened our Philanthropic Advisory Services division, adding deep expertise in areas such as board governance, next-generation engagement, impact measurement, and strategic philanthropy.
The addition of PFS has enhanced our ability to help clients identify opportunities for greater impact and develop more targeted giving strategies. By expanding our team and subject-matter expertise, we are providing more sophisticated, sector-informed guidance that translates into stronger outcomes for donors, families, and organizations. At the same time, the integration has increased our capacity and efficiency, enabling us to serve a growing client base while maintaining a high level of personalized support.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
This recognition is particularly meaningful because philanthropic advice is central to our mission. Helping donors transform charitable intent into measurable impact requires both strategic guidance and strong operational execution, and we have invested heavily in strengthening both.
Alongside PFS, the acquisitions of PG Calc, Vennfi, and Giving Place have expanded the technology, services, and charitable vehicles we offer across the giving lifecycle. Together, these capabilities create an integrated platform that helps family offices and wealth advisors enhance their philanthropic offerings, improve efficiency, and better serve clients.
This recognition validates our approach and reinforces the growing importance of charitable planning within wealth management. We see a significant opportunity to continue combining technology, expertise, and operational excellence to elevate philanthropic advice across the industry.
Where do you draw inspiration for innovation — within the wealth industry or beyond it?
My approach to innovation has been shaped by more than two decades in wealth management technology. Across every stage of my career, the guiding principle has been to identify inefficiencies and use technology to solve them.
Philanthropy has historically been an underserved component of comprehensive wealth planning. Our goal is to bring the same level of innovation, integration, and technology-enabled efficiency to charitable giving that the industry has long applied to investment management. By doing so, we help advisors deliver more holistic solutions and enable clients to achieve greater philanthropic impact.
Gresham Partners is an employee-owned wealth management firm established in 1997 and purpose built to serve the needs of ultra-high net worth multi-generational families.
Unconventional investment approach focused on aftertax compounding, resilient portfolios, and differentiated access for generational wealth creators.
Solutions for risk management, healthcare, cybersecurity, private travel, and more, so families can focus on what matters most.
Strategic and integrated advice and coordination among all of families’ service providers and advisors.
Integrated planning tailored to the complex financial lives of ultrahigh net worth families.
When people think about wealth management, they often focus on investing. For ultra-high-net-worth families, however, investing is only one part of a much broader challenge.
Managing generational wealth requires integrating investment decisions with tax planning, estate planning, liquidity management, philanthropy, and family dynamics. Within that broader framework, many investors focus on the wrong risks. The greatest threat to long-term wealth is often not market volatility, but investor behavior during periods of uncertainty.
Markets have always tested discipline. Periods of stress create a powerful desire for clarity and control. Investors naturally seek to reduce discomfort by reacting to headlines, repositioning portfolios, or moving toward perceived safety. Unfortunately, those instincts often lead to the very outcomes investors are trying to avoid.
Fear tends to peak after markets have already declined, while confidence usually returns only after recovery is underway. Over time, this pattern of reactive decision-making can materially erode long-term compounding, even in otherwise well-constructed portfolios. This is why portfolio construction matters so much.
A portfolio should not simply pursue returns. It should be designed to help investors remain disciplined during difficult periods. That requires more than traditional diversification models, which often rely on backward-looking correlations that can break down precisely when markets become stressed. Assets that appear diversified in stable environments frequently move together during periods of dislocation.
We approach this differently by focusing on the role each investment plays within the broader portfolio and how the portfolio is expected to behave across different economic environments. The objective is not to eliminate volatility, which is impossible, but to build resilient structures that allow families to stay invested and avoid emotionally driven decisions during periods of stress.
That discipline becomes even more important in a multi-generational context. Decisions made during periods of uncertainty can affect families for decades. The cumulative impact of repeatedly reacting to markets, chasing performance, or abandoning long-term plans can quietly undermine substantial wealth over time.
Preparation also creates opportunity. Periods of market dislocation often produce attractive long-term investment opportunities, but only for investors with prepared capital, appropriate structures, and the confidence to act when others cannot. Many portfolios are not built for this. Investors who become forced sellers during difficult periods rarely can take advantage of the opportunities volatility creates.
This is one of the often-overlooked advantages of a properly executed multi-family office model. Investment management should not operate in isolation. Integrated planning, thoughtful liquidity management, tax-aware portfolio construction, and alignment across generations reinforce better decision-making when emotions and uncertainty are highest.
The goal is never to predict markets. No one has a crystal ball. The objective is to build portfolios and planning structures capable of enduring uncertainty while maintaining the flexibility to act thoughtfully when opportunity emerges.
Markets will remain unpredictable. Volatility is not an exception to long-term investing. It is the price of admission. Families that preserve discipline through uncertainty are the ones best positioned to sustain and compound wealth across generations.

• Solutions for "International Americans"
or more than 25 years, Henley & Partners has established itself as the global leader in residence and citizenship planning. We are honored to be recognized by the Family Wealth Awards for the second consecutive year as the leading provider of Solutions for International Americans — a distinction that reflects the strength of our relationships with family offices and trusted advisors to high-net-worth individuals.
These partners rely on us to help their clients navigate an increasingly complex global landscape — leveraging residence and citizenship planning as a tool to mitigate risk, unlock international opportunities, and preserve generational wealth.
It was a privilege to celebrate this achievement alongside so many of our valued partners, many of whom continue to engage us to advise their clients directly, train their internal teams, and deliver educational seminars on the evolving residence and citizenship advisory sector.
Demand among ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families continues to grow, particularly among American clients. Increasingly, they are exploring alternative residence and citizenship as a means to enhance global mobility, diversify their portfolios, and establish a strategic ‘Plan B’ in an uncertain world.
Importantly, most US-based clients are not seeking to relocate. Rather, they view acquiring alternative residence and citizenship as a sophisticated form of diversification — one that provides greater
flexibility, security, and optionality for themselves and future generations. In today’s dynamic environment, these solutions have become essential tools for entrepreneurs, investors, family offices, and public figures across industries.
Henley & Partners remains committed to delivering highly personalized, professional service, underpinned by the highest standards of data privacy and security. With a global presence spanning more than 70 offices, we provide a seamless, efficient experience for our clients worldwide. At the same time, our government advisory practice continues to design and implement some of the world’s most successful residence and citizenship programs, ensuring a robust and sustainable ecosystem of options.
In response to evolving client needs, we have also expanded our capabilities beyond our core offering to include citizenship by descent, tax advisory, global education advisory, international real estate, concierge services, and Civis Mundi — an international membership network that offers curated private events and unparalleled access across business, politics, arts, academia, and health.
Winning this award for a second year reinforces our commitment to working closely with the wealth management community. We are proud to be recognized alongside so many respected firms and look forward to continuing to deepen these partnerships — delivering the expertise, insight, and innovation our clients and partners expect.
One is a feature of software. The other is what software has been missing.
A family office runs on contracts, trusts, fund documents, shareholder agreements, family arrangements. Instruments drafted in different decades, by different lawyers, to do different things, that have to agree with each other every time someone signs a check.
Most of what looks like work in a family office is reconciling them against each other. Software stores data. It does not capture the work itself. Who had authority, what the trust required, why the decision was made — that lives in people, and leaves with them.
iPaladin captures the work.

iPaladin won the 'Family Office Management Consultancy (Technology-Based)' award. The Digital Family Office® governs more than $80 billion across 168 family offices, with 97 percent retention and zero data loss over 15 years. We asked what family office technology leaves out.
Family offices have more technology than ever. What did you build that the market did not already have?
Family offices manage entities, trusts, investments, and philanthropy. They do it through a CRM, a folder system, an ERP, and a stack of point solutions. Each holds part of the visible work. None holds the operative legal and fiduciary structure underneath: governing documents, authorities, obligations, decisions over decades. That structure has lived in a few senior people, and leaves when they do. iPaladin built the governance operating system that holds it. Our Professional Services team, with 90-plus years of combined family office experience, consolidates what is scattered across systems, paper, and people into one record. That is execution architecture: the system a family office runs on.
What does that look like in practice?
A client in January 2026 uploaded a subscription agreement: one investor contributing a concentrated stock position across five family limited partnerships. Manually that is 9 to 15 hours across legal, accounting, and operations. AARK™ read the document, proposed five governance environments, linked it to every entity, and scheduled K-1 and reporting workflows. 7 minutes, start to finish, human-confirmed. The governance logic was already in the document. This is what every document-driven workflow looks like inside iPaladin.
Jill Creager Founder & CEO iPaladin | The Digital Family Office®
• Family Office Management Consultancy (Technology-Based)
Why a consultancy award rather than a pure technology award?
Because the platform alone is half the answer. Every family office arrives with 75,000 to 150,000+ governing documents: the legal foundation underneath every entity, trust, and authority. Other technology vendors do not touch these. Our team does. Working with SmartRecords® and AARK™, the team runs a comprehensive document analysis at onboarding. Two consistent findings: 40 percent of stored documents are redundant. 10 percent of essential ones are missing or unsigned. Both get resolved before any workflow goes live. That is the work the award recognizes.
How does iPaladin position itself in the AI shift now reshaping wealth management?
Reading a document and executing what the document requires are two different problems. Most AI in the market solves the first. Family offices are about to have six AI systems, one per vendor, each reading its own slice. That is fragmentation repackaged, not fragmentation solved. AARK™ runs on a governed foundation — authorities, obligations, and decision history. It executes. A human confirms. That is the difference between summarizing a document and acting on it.
What does this ultimately deliver to the family?
Continuity through transitions. Family offices last a century. The people running them turn over every 10 to 20 years. iPaladin holds the decisions, authorities, and obligations that govern the office, so every transition stops being a partial reset. The next person inherits a functioning record, not a rebuild.

J.P. Morgan
J.P. Morgan Private Bank was named 'Best Overall Family Office Solution' and 'Best Private Client Investment Platform' at the 2026 Family Wealth Report Awards — a dual recognition that reflects a sustained commitment to becoming the investment partner of choice for family offices worldwide.
The distinction is not simply about scale, though scale matters. With $1.4 trillion in AuM and 10,353 client advisors serving families across 140+ countries, the Private Bank has the reach to meet family offices wherever complexity lives — across entities, jurisdictions, asset classes, and generations. What sets the platform apart is how strategy, implementation, and governance are woven together into a single, coherent client experience.
"Our work starts with understanding the family — their goals and objectives, and their decision dynamics — and then building an investment approach that can stand up to complexity," says William Sinclair, Global Co-Head of the Family Office Practice. "Family offices are managing succession, liquidity events, concentration risk, philanthropy, and governance at the same time, so the advice has to connect those dots and remain practical when markets move."
That connectivity is structural. The Private Bank pairs dedicated client coverage with specialists across investments, planning, credit, and fiduciary considerations, ensuring decisions stay consistent across accounts and entities, even as circumstances evolve.
At the core of the investment platform is the J.P. Morgan Private Bank Investment Strategy team: approximately 40 strategists and economists spanning macro, equities, fixed income, and portfolio construction across the U.S., EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. Their research reaches roughly 120,000 clients globally through a consistent cadence of publications. "Family offices need a repeatable way to translate market regimes into portfolio decisions," says Chris McCree. "We focus on turning views into implementation — what to own, how to size it, how to fund it, and how to manage risk when correlations shift."
That implementation capability extends deep into private markets. Morgan Private Capital (MPC), established a decade ago and now doubled in size, focuses on bespoke direct private market opportunities for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Working with 60 sourcing partners across Mumbai, Hong Kong, London, New York, and San Francisco, MPC has expanded from roughly five large consumer-tech investments annually to 40—50 opportunities spanning infrastructure, sports, media, AI, and technology, giving family offices access to a private markets pipeline that few can match.
Analytical rigor underpins every decision. The 30th anniversary edition of J.P. Morgan's Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions covers 200+ asset and strategy classes with projected returns over the next 10—15 years. "The standard for innovation should be whether it improves judgment," says Emily Margolis. "Our aim is to make trade-offs explicit — liquidity versus longevity, concentration versus control, growth versus resilience — so families can act with clarity and stay aligned over time."
Looking ahead, the Private Bank is deepening its capabilities around privately held assets and the full family ecosystem. The 23 Wall team already supports 700 families representing $4.5 trillion of assets. In 2025, the firm launched Lifestyle Services — connecting clients with providers across luxury travel, private aviation, healthcare management, art, and digital asset reporting — reflecting a conviction that the investment partner of choice must coordinate the family's entire world, not only its portfolios.

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
KPB’s most impactful innovation has been its accountabili ty‑driven relationship model, which shifts success measurement from traditional production metrics to what clients actually expe rience. Advisors are evaluated on whether commitments are deliv ered, service quality remains consistent, and planning evolves as clients’ lives change.
This approach has had a measurable impact. KPB’s Net Promoter Score increased from 47 in 2022 to 63 in 2025, reflecting improved responsiveness, stronger planning engagement, and clearer align ment with client goals. Internally, this framework creates consistency across markets, reinforces fiduciary behavior, and ensures technology and process enhancements are deployed in service of relationships.
How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?
Culture at Key Private Bank is rooted in intentional talent devel opment and shared accountability. A clear example is the Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) Development Journey, a structured, multi‑year program that prepares future Relationship Managers through mentorship, progressive client responsibility, and formal skill milestones. Over the past four years, internally developed ARM talent has reached client experience and productivity metrics faster than external hires, contributing to a more consistent client experience and accelerating growth.
Senior Relationship Managers and Market Leaders play an active role in coaching, reinforcing a culture where leadership is defined by developing others and not just managing books of business. This in vestment supports continuity for clients and contributes to KPB’s average client relationship tenure of approximately 20 years, with many families served across multiple generations.

What role has collaboration — either internally or with external partners — played in your success?
Collaboration is central to the KPB operating model. Inter nally, clients are supported by integrated advisory teams that bring together relationship managers, portfolio strategists, wealth planners, fiduciary specialists, and credit experts. This en sures complexity is addressed holistically without fragmenting accountability.
Externally, KPB works deliberately alongside clients’ existing attorneys, accountants, and advisors. Rather than attempting to replace trusted partners, the firm acts as a coordinator and collab orator integrating planning, investment strategy, and execution so that nothing is overlooked. This collaborative mindset has been a consistent driver of trust, particularly in complex transition and multi‑generational planning scenarios.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
Our firm sees three primary challenges ahead: higher expecta tions for personalization, accelerating intergenerational wealth transfer, and growing regulatory, tax, and investment complexity.
The firm is positioning itself by reinforcing a planning‑first phi losophy. In 2025, KPB completed more than 2,100 comprehensive wealth plans, each capturing multiple financial and personal goals, and conducted over 1,400 investment reviews, reflecting a belief that sophisticated strategies require ongoing dialogue and not periodic check‑ins.
By combining this planning intensity with local community presence and long‑term advisor continuity, Key Private Bank aims to remain differentiated as wealth management evolves from a product‑led business into a life‑long partnership.

Your clients' portfolios are expertly managed. But what about everything else — the context, the entity structures, the trustee instructions, and the values a balance sheet can't capture? The firms that win the next generation don't just manage wealth. They turn institutional knowledge into institutional infrastructure.

For wealth advisory firms and single family offices, the defi nition of a successful client relationship has fundamentally shifted. A decade ago, firms established their value through technical prowess — executing estate strategies, constructing legal frameworks, maximizing portfolio returns. Today, com plex multigenerational families require something more. They don't need another disconnected service provider. They need an essential partner capable of navigating the last mile of wealth management: ensuring that planning is not just designed, but seamlessly communicated, translated, and preserved across generations.
That partner is leafplanner.
Purpose built to serve as a family facing "owner's manual," leafplanner bridges the distance between sophisticated financial architecture and real world execution. It equips advisors to be come something far more valuable than managers of assets — they become the continuity architects of the families they serve. The private wealth community has taken notice.
leafplanner has earned recognition at the Family Wealth Report Awards for four consecutive years, including the 2026 honor of 'Best Customer-Facing Digital Platform'. That remarkable streak is not a coincidence. It is a validation of what forward thinking firms have already discovered: that the advisors who win the next generation are those who deliver not just returns, but certainty.
In high net worth ecosystems, vulnerabilities rarely stem from poor legal paperwork or underperforming portfolios. They emerge from fragmentation. A family's most critical information is typi cally scattered — sequestered among estate attorneys, CPAs, and
• Customer Facing Digital Platform Winner
insurance brokers, or by a single patriarch or matriarch who carries it all in memory. When an unexpected transition occurs, the result is not just inconvenience. It is chaos.
leafplanner rewrites this narrative. By establishing digital conti nuity, the platform centralizes the non investing side of wealth — capturing the nuances of family governance, entity structures, operational workflows, and the deeply personal values and in tent that no balance sheet can record. It transforms fragmented, siloed data into a living, interactive roadmap that a family and their advisors can navigate together.
For single family offices, leafplanner institutionalizes family knowledge so that legacy outlives any single individual. For wealth advisory firms, it creates a collaborative ecosystem to proactively surface blind spots, future proof family enterprises, and foster the kind of alignment conversations that deepen relationships across generations.
By closing this operational gap, leafplanner enables firms to cap ture the elusive last mile of wealth advisory. The dynamic shifts from reactive and transactional to proactive and indispensable. Advisors are no longer peripheral service providers. They are stra tegic architects — embedded in the family's story, essential to its continuity, and irreplaceable to its future.
In a competitive marketplace, standing out requires more than standard reporting. By integrating leafplanner's four time award winning platform into their practice, wealth advisory firms and single family offices don't just protect their clients' legacies. They secure their own, as the essential partner their families cannot imagine building a future without.

A year after Luminary’s first Family Wealth Report Award for innovation, how has your view of AI’s role in trust and estate services evolved?
Every firm has experimented with gener al purpose tools, and most have arrived at the same conclusion. Generalized AI is extraordinary raw intelligence, but raw in telligence needs to be refined before it can power an advisory practice.
We recently ran a public, head to head comparison: generic tools produced pre sentations that contained outdated ex emption figures and tax math we couldn’t reconcile. “Plausibly correct” is not good enough when the plan kicks in on the worst day of a family’s life.
Luminary is AI purpose built for trust and estate planning: structured knowledge graphs, validation loops that critique every extraction multiple times, citations that link back to the source paragraph, and a proprietary tax engine that knows the law. That architecture is what you can stake your practice on, and the bar this category now has to clear.
The judges recognized Luminary for transforming how estate planning services are delivered. What does that look like in practice?
Estate planning is historically difficult to scale. Luminary’s contribution is breaking that constraint at three points in the work flow, all powered by the same underlying knowledge graph.
The first is automated document intelli gence. Luminary reads every trust, will, and amendment, codifies how they relate to one another, and produces structured data with citations linking back to the source paragraph. Our F1 accuracy score is roughly ninety seven percent — every output critiqued and refined by multiple models before it reaches an advisor.
The second is client ready outputs. Struc tured data flows into balance sheets, wa terfall visualizations, firm branded presen tation templates, cover letters, executive summaries, document comparisons, and fiduciary overviews. Advisors no longer need to leave Luminary to produce any type of deliverable.
The third is strategic insight. Scenario modelling, tax projections, and strategic recommendations run live in client meet ings, making trade offs quantifiable rather than weeks later.
One of our customers, New Republic Part ners, reduced client presentation prep time significantly and called Luminary “a mean ingful differentiator for our firm.” That is what scalable advisory impact looks like in practice.
Looking to the future, where is Luminary investing next to keep raising the high bar it’s placed on innovation?
Three themes anchor our roadmap.
First, an end to end workflow turning es tate documents into presentation ready output in minutes, with human review.
Second, AI you converse with rather than configure: agents that let advisors model hypotheticals through natural language and chat across the client household.
Third, continuing to build on sophisti cated capabilities: multi state estate tax modelling, income tax drag on long hori zon trusts, deeper Salesforce and eMoney integrations, and AI accuracy evaluations for compliance teams.
A conviction we’ve held since day one: wealth transfer services will define and differentiate the leaders in high net worth advisory. Firms that deliver the family office experience consistently and at scale will grow faster, with more satisfied clients, than firms relying on legacy investment and banking products.

David Barnard Founder & CEO Luminary

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?
At Mack International, excellence has always been at the center of our work. Our philosophy — “In Search of Excellence. Excellence in Search.” — reflects the standard we hold ourselves to in every client engagement. We believe the families and firms we serve de serve a thoughtful, high touch process from start to finish, and that every interaction throughout a search matters.
What role has collaboration — either internally or with external partners — played in your success?
The work we do is deeply relationship driven. Many of our clients are family offices, wealth management firms, and family enter prises navigating important leadership decisions that can have a lasting impact on their organizations and families. Because of that, trust, discretion, and consistency are critical. Internally, we have built a culture centered around collaboration, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to understanding each client’s unique needs and dynamics. We approach every search with the mindset that there is no one size fits all solution.
Collaboration has also played an important role in our growth and success over the years. We are fortunate to work alongside many respected professionals and partners throughout the wealth management and family office industry, and those relationships have been invaluable. The family office space is built on trust and long term relationships, and we are grateful for the many industry partners, clients, and peers who continue to collaborate with and support our team.
• Wealth Management Executive Search Firm
Brian Adams President Linda Mack Founder Mack International
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
We believe talent and technology will be two of the biggest themes shaping wealth management over the next five years. The demand for exceptional leadership continues to grow as firms become more sophisticated and specialized, while technology is rapidly changing how organizations operate and serve clients.
Family offices and wealth management firms are increasingly looking for leaders who can balance strategic thinking, adaptabil ity, and strong interpersonal skills. We believe successful execu tive search goes far beyond matching qualifications on paper. It requires understanding culture, leadership style, and the unique dynamics that define each organization.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
Winning the 'Wealth Management Executive Search Firm' award at the 2026 Family Wealth Report Awards is truly an honor for our team.
We are proud to be recognized alongside so many respected firms within the industry, and we are incredibly grateful to our clients, candidates, and partners for the trust they continue to place in us.

As wealth advisors, we work with exceptional individuals and families navigating the complexities of significant wealth.
We help you focus on what matters most: making informed decisions, stewarding your wealth with intention, and transferring it with purpose across generations.

What recent innovation has had the greatest impact on client outcomes or internal efficiency?
Our most impactful recent innovation is Masttro Intelligence — a secure AI layer em bedded within the Masttro platform that turns complex wealth data into action able intelligence, without introducing new systems or compromising governance.
For family offices, this is simple: it collapses the distance between data and decisions. Historically, wealth teams have had to piece together answers across spreadsheets, emails, PDFs, custodian portals, and multi ple administrators, then reconcile, validate, and translate that into something decision ready. Masttro Intelligence changes the operating model by making the platform where questions are answered, exceptions surfaced, and work gets done, with speed, context, and control.
At our scale processing 8M+ transactions daily across 10,000+ end client users — we’re not just improving one firm’s work flow; we’re helping raise efficiency across the wealth management industry by standard izing how data is captured, validated, and translated into decision ready reporting.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
Winning the awards for Most Innovative Use of AI and Overall Technology Solution is a meaningful validation of our team’s daily focus and our broader mission to be the leading technology solution for modern UHNW wealth management.
In a region where cross border complexity and data fragmentation are common, this recognition reinforces that we are solving problems that matter, with innovation that is practical and trusted.
We’ll use this recognition in two ways: ex ternally, to build confidence with family offices, RIAs, and institutions evaluating modern platforms; and internally, as a
rallying point that reinforces our culture of excellence and momentum as we continue to expand Masttro’s reach and capabilities.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
Three forces will shape the next five years. First, the Great Wealth Transfer will reset expectations around experience, transpar ency, and client engagement. Second, there will be an accelerating move away from leg acy tools and spreadsheets, with less tol erance for fragile, stitched together stacks that create operational risk. Third, data pri vacy, cybersecurity, and vendor governance will become even more central as firms and wealth owners demand stronger control over sensitive information.
We’re positioning Masttro around a simple principle: reducing complexity and increas ing trust. That means delivering a unified view across fragmented sources and using Masttro Intelligence to help teams move from searching for information to act ing on it — securely, contextually, and at institutional standards.
How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?
We often refer to “the Masttro difference”, which comes from combining deep domain expertise with a relentless focus on inno vation and execution. We set a high bar for quality because our clients, family offices, RIAs, and institutions depend on preci sion and trust. That standard is reinforced through close collaboration across prod uct, engineering, and client facing teams, ensuring what we build is grounded in real workflows and needs.
Cybersecurity and data governance are em bedded into how we operate as a core part of earning trust. Ultimately, high perfor mance is driven by a clear mission: deliver ing better data, showcased beautifully, so clients can make confident decisions.

For over three decades, Matter Family Office has helped families turn wealth into something enduring: shared purpose, every generation learning from each other and growing together over time. Our fully integrated platform brings together every dimension of family wealth, so every decision moves your family forward.

Katherine Lintz Founder & Managing Partner Matter Family Office
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
In the next decade, wealth management firms will need to help families navigate in creasing complexity in every part of life. This ranges from investment management to business transitions, private investments, estate planning, philanthropy, tax complexity and the human side of wealth transfer.
We must also view this increasing complexity against a backdrop of one of the largest intergenerational wealth transfers in history. As we anticipate this historical event, one of the biggest challenges will be preparing families across generations. In this context, communication, education and shared purpose will be central to a successful transition. Accordingly, we spend a great deal of time helping families consider governance and decision making, while preparing future generations for responsibility and inheritance.
Matter Family Office wealth management services were built on a fully integrated model. Families do not experience their lives in silos, so they should not receive advice that way. Our robust platform brings together all the pieces of family office support under one roof. With the recent combination of Matter and IWP Family Office, our platform is now both deeper and wider with more talent, resources and technolo gy platforms to serve families across generations, while we remain independent and relationship driven.
Where do you draw inspiration for innovation — within the wealth industry or beyond it?
I draw inspiration from listening to and learning from our client families and my own family. Every decade brings a new set of opportunities, challenges and lessons. Today, many families are navigating relationships across three and four living generations, and in some cases soon five. That creates a richness and depth to the family experience unlike anything we have seen before.
Our work is centered on helping families see around corners and prepare thoughtfully for what lies ahead. We want families to develop the communication skills, perspective and intentionality needed to enjoy life’s great moments together. Those same skills and shared wisdom also become stabilizing pillars during periods of transition or difficulty. That is where I find the greatest inspiration in this profession.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
• Marketing or PR Campaign
• Lifetime Achievement - Kathy Lintz Winner
Receiving the Family Wealth Report 'Lifetime Achievement' Award is deeply meaning ful to me. It reflects the work of many people over many years. Matter began in 1990 with a small team and a belief that families deserved independent advice built around their long term goals and values. Over the years, we have grown thoughtfully, but our mission has stayed the same.
I am especially grateful to the colleagues, clients and partners who helped shape Matter Family Office and for their trust in our vision along the way. This recognition is also an opportunity to advance the conversation around integrated family office services and the importance of preparing families for the responsibilities that come with wealth. We still believe the best work in this profession is built on relationships, trust and a long term perspective.

Monroe M. Diefendorf Founding Member
MTM Technology, Inc.
There comes a time when “more money” no longer becomes the goal for a family. In fact, more money can actually be more hurtful than helpful. As financial success grows, families recognize that sustaining unity requires more than managing wealth. Decisions involve more people.
Expectations are no longer assumed. Leadership must be developed rather than inherited. As families grow, complexity increases. Marriages, partners, and future generations bring new perspectives and responsibilities. At some point, most families ask the same question: “Where do we begin and how do we move forward together?”
MTM Technology, Inc. f/k/a Aspida360, Inc. is a FamTec (family + technology) digi tal tool for stewarding the family’s “total” wealth. It is a guided path for preparing heirs for responsibilities. Our technology moves a family from awareness to clari ty, from clarity to preparation, from preparation to unity, from unity to leadership and from leadership to continuity — and no family member is left behind. We have curated discovery tools that support communication, values, gratitude, legacy and governance across generations.
The problems that Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) families experience are unique, such as kidnapping, extortion, ransom and targets for all kinds of cyber attacks. This makes any form of public communication channels (What’s App, texting, Slack, etc.) an undesirable way to stay connected within the family. Our solution was to create a private and secure ecosystem within which the family can com municate. Family chats can now include younger family members that would have been banned from being exposed to predators on public sites. This one element has enhanced the internal efficiencies within the family for connection, especially within the governance structure.
Unfortunately, traditional “money only” wealth management has failed to ad dress the questions that families are asking. Over the next five years, there will be a demand from the UHNW families that if not addressed by their advisors, will be addressed by their advisor’s competitor. However, this creates a great oppor tunity for the firm that can listen to their clients and figure out a way to answer the questions they are asking. Our MTM360 platform allows advisors to enter the marketplace without investing a considerable amount of time and money to begin servicing their client’s “total” wealth.
It is one thing to think you have an award winning tech platform but another thing to be recognized by your peers as “best in class.” As the 'Client Driven Innovation (B2C)' technology award winner in 2026, we appreciate that our efforts to meet the needs of the UHNW families was honored.
• Client Driven Innovation (B2C) Winner
But it is not enough to stop the innovation now. In fact, we are ready to launch our Version 9 of MTM360 with will include “ROE” (pronounced Roey) who is our Re lationship Optimization Expert. This real time Agentic AI overlay will predict and optimize human interaction outcomes by analyzing 35 digital tools for each family member. In fact, I can safely say that ROE will be the most significant member of the family.
FamTec is truly the future in the evolution of wealth management.

What sort of challenges did you surmount to reach this level and how have you been able to succeed in such fast-moving circumstances?
Home is a critical element of success and well being. But as a family’s net worth increases, so does the complexity they face at home. With multiple properties, high end assets, and hired staff, many families reach a frustrating realization: life was supposed to be easier.
This is what we call the wealth spiral: a state of ever increas ing complexity after a wealth event, when in fact the opposite is expected.
At Nines, we’re on a mission to help families stop the wealth spiral and live the life they imagined. We first tried solving this through household staffing, but quickly learned that having the right people is only one piece of the puzzle.
After speaking with hundreds of high net worth families and private service professionals about their needs, and uncovered a common thread: the old ways of managing properties, people and projects cannot keep up with today’s families. Without the right systems, both families and their staff are set up to fail.
So we built a single platform to help households run smooth ly,bringing structure to complexity and helping families live with ease.
What was the winning formula of your firm/you that explains why you won?
Nines fills an important gap in the support system for UHNW families and individuals. We are laser focused on life at home, easing families’ most pressing and personal challenges.
Our household management technology platform is built with
security and ease of use in mind. Hundreds of discerning families and family offices use Nines as a centralized household manual and operating system to simplify the way they manage properties, assets, vendors, staff, projects, and more.
We also offer in house estate management support, workshops and consulting, and are the hosts of Easemakers, the industry leading community with 1,000+ household and estate managers.
What are you going to do to remain competitive and stay ahead?
We are constantly talking with principals, family offices, and private service professionals to build the future of household management.
Today, Nines is the modern household management solution the industry has been waiting for — it allows households to centralize critical information (from daily housekeeping checklists and prin cipal preferences to annual maintenance plans and vendor contact information), find answers quickly, assign tasks, and more.
Now, based on this foundation, we will continue to listen to our clients’ needs and evolve our platform accordingly, adding features that will empower households to identify windows of opportunity, improve efficiency and make smarter decisions.
Where do you see the wealth management industry and your part of it going in the next five years?
We believe in a holistic approach to wealth management. Increas ingly, wealth managers will expand beyond financial services to provide support for factors like health, well being, personal values, and life at home. We look forward to partnering with wealth man agers to help families reduce everyday stress and frustration, and ultimately, live with ease.

We excel in the simplification and organization of complex accounting and consolidated reporting. High-Touch Outsourced Accounting
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
At Plumb, innovation is an ongoing com mitment to improving our platform for RIAs and families. Our Plumb Bill Pay App remains central to our work, and we continue to expand its features to deliver better outcomes. From bill tracking and real time reporting to deeper financial in sights, every enhancement is guided by one question: what do our clients need next?
A recent example is our automated balance adjustments in the chart of ac counts. What once required manual rec onciliation is now handled automatically, reducing errors and delays while keeping records accurate and current. For RIAs and family offices, this means cleaner data, faster reporting, and more time for client focused work.
Previously, bill pay was often fragmented and manual. Our app unifies the process, giving advisors clear visibility into spend ing, the ability to flag anomalies, and stronger oversight than before. The result is greater efficiency — and, more impor tantly, greater peace of mind for clients.
Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving?
Time and again, what stands out is how our team shows up for clients during mo ments that matter. Whether it’s navigating a complex household transition, resolving an urgent payment issue, or simply ensur ing that nothing falls through the cracks during a busy period, our team approaches every situation with the same level of care and attention. No task is too small, and no client concern goes unaddressed.
What sets our team apart is that they treat every client interaction as an opportunity to build trust, not just complete a transac tion. Every client has a dedicated point of
contact, every bill is reviewed, and nothing is ever just “processed and forgotten.” That ethos of care is what drives our client re tention and what I believe contributed to this recognition.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
For years, we have understood that bill pay is one of the most persistent pain points for the high net worth families and fami ly offices we serve. It is often overlooked, yet the consequences of getting it wrong — missed payments, disorganized records, a lack of visibility — can have real impacts on a family’s financial life. That is why we made it our focus. We have spent a long time getting very good at this, and we care deeply about doing it well.
Receiving this recognition from Family Wealth Report is genuinely meaningful to us. It is a reminder that the work we put in every day — the attention to detail, the service, the ongoing investment in our platform — does not go unnoticed. We are proud of what the team has built, and this award is a wonderful validation of that. We will carry it as motivation to keep raising the bar for our clients.
Where do you draw inspiration for innovation — within the wealth industry or beyond it?
Much of our inspiration comes from out side wealth management, especially con sumer fintech, which has set new expec tations for simplicity, transparency, and real time access. We continually ask why ultra high net worth families shouldn’t have the same intuitive experience.
We also rely heavily on feedback from our RIA partners, who understand both client needs and operational complexity. Their input shapes our product direction. At Plumb, innovation is driven in partner ship with the people who use our platform every day.

Family wealth creates unique risks. Ordinary security isn't enough. Presage Global delivers total protection for high-net-worth families - physical security, due diligence, cybersecurity, travel safety, digital privacy, and threat assessments.
We anticipate risks before they emerge, creating layered security strategies that protect what matters most.
Trusted worldwide Ьу discerning families.

Edward Marshall Founder & CEO Tristan Flannery Managing Partner Presage Global
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
One of Presage Global’s key innovations is the Ten Domains of Risk framework, combined with an integrated cyber, privacy, intelligence, and physical security model. Designed for ultra high net worth families and family offices, it shows how vulnerabilities in one area can quickly impact others. Privacy issues can lead to fraud, cyber intrusions can become physical risks, and AI driven impersonation can undermine trust, governance, and decision making.
This integrated model has helped family offices move beyond siloed security programs and toward a more comprehensive approach to risk visibility and resil ience. Through initiatives such as The Resilient Family Office program and Presage Global’s risk readiness methodologies, clients are provided with structured frame works, strategic guidance, and actionable tools designed to support operational preparedness across multiple domains of risk.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
The wealth management industry will face increasing challenges related to technological disruption, AI enabled fraud, cyber physical convergence, privacy erosion, geopolitical instability, and the growing operational complexity of fam ily offices. As family offices continue to professionalize and expand globally, the need for integrated security systems and intelligence led risk management will only intensify.
Presage Global is positioning itself for this future by continuing to develop multi disciplinary capabilities that connect cybersecurity, intelligence, due diligence, pri vacy, and protective services into a unified advisory model. The firm believes that risk management can no longer operate in isolated categories, and that future resilience of a family office will depend on understanding how threats intersect across operational, technological, reputational, and physical domains.
Edward V. Marshall, founder and chief executive officer of Presage Global, noted: “Security today does not fail in a single domain. It fails at the connections between them. Families require integrated thinking that addresses how modern threats converge across cyber, privacy, intelligence, and physical security.”
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
Winning this award is meaningful recognition of Presage Global’s continued commitment to advancing the family office industry’s understanding of mod ern risk. It reinforces our belief that family offices require proactive, intelli gence led strategies capable of quickly adapting to increasingly dynamic threat environments.
We intend to use this recognition to continue expanding industry education, thought leadership, and collaborative risk management initiatives designed to help family offices navigate an increasingly complex global risk landscape.

What role has collaboration — either internally or with external partners — played in your success?
Collaboration is central to Presage Global’s growth. Internally, our integrated model combines intelligence, cybersecurity, privacy, investigations, and physical security to address complex risks through a unified, intelligence led approach.
Externally, we partner with aligned organizations to advance industry dialogue on resilience and risk management, including our recent Estate Security Gap Survey with Nines. These collaborations help elevate standards and contribute insights to the family office and wealth management communities.

PURE was built on a simple idea: create an insurance compa ny that aligns its interests with those of its members, de livers exceptional service and helps members prevent loss es before they happen. Today, PURE serves more than 120,000 successful and responsible individuals and families, manages more than $3 billion in premium and maintains an A (Excellent) financial strength rating from AM Best.
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes?
One of our most significant innovations was the introduction of new flood insurance solutions earlier this year, designed to address a longstanding protection gap. While flooding is among the most common natural disasters, it is often excluded from standard homeowner policies. PURE introduced both admitted and non admitted primary flood solutions with higher coverage limits, broad basement protection, and a streamlined claims experience handled directly by PURE adjusters.
As with so many of our offerings, our goal was to solve a prob lem that members had long faced in a way that reduces friction and improves outcomes when a loss occurs. Members benefit from higher limits, fewer administrative hurdles, and the confi dence that one team will guide them through the claims process from start to finish.
Can you share a story that best illustrates your team's commitment to client service or problem-solving?
The Palisades Fire, the largest catastrophe in PURE's history, demonstrated what sets our organization apart. Within hours of the fire's outbreak, we activated our catastrophe response team. That evening, we personally called all members in the evacuation zones — not to confirm coverage, but to say: “Please evacuate. We’ll cover your hotel and handle the rest.”
By the next morning, our adjusters were on the scene, even as the fire still burned. Using satellite and aerial imagery, we
Kristin Rainey VP, National Family Office & Wealth Advisory Executive PURE Insurance
identified potential losses before other carriers had arrived. That early action helped us secure housing, coordinate service provid ers and reassure members who were facing unimaginable loss.
One adjuster spent more than an hour on the phone with a displaced member who simply needed someone to talk to and later visited her in person to offer support. Another drove eight hours round trip to meet with members in person and help them understand their coverage and recovery options.
What role has collaboration — either internally or with external partners — played in your success?
Collaboration is at the heart of how we think about insurance. Traditionally, insurers show up after a loss occurs. We believe the better model is a partnership built from the start — working alongside members, family offices, and trusted advisors to help prevent losses from happening in the first place. Through loss prevention programs, services and technology, we have helped detect thousands of hidden risks before they become costly loss es, helping our members avoid what could have been a massive disruption in their lives.
The same collaborative spirit extends throughout the orga nization. Whether responding to catastrophes, developing new products or improving member experiences, teams across the organization work together with a shared mission: to create a membership experience so compelling our members never want to leave.
What does winning this award mean to your firm?
This recognition affirms the value of our member focused model. While we are proud of our growth, financial strength and industry leading retention rates, the achievement we value most is the trust our members place in us. This award reflects the ded ication of our people and reinforces our commitment to innova tion, service and partnership as we continue to build a stronger future for the families we serve.

How has your firm driven innovation and high performance to improve client outcomes?
We recently introduced illustrated guides on the art market for ad visors to UHNW clients, enabling even those with limited knowl edge to engage confidently and identify solutions — enhancing both client outcomes and efficiency. This innovation reflects our broader culture of excellence, which emphasizes responsive ness, accountability, and focused communication, ensuring high performance despite the distractions of remote and digital work.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
With so much rampant merger and acquisitions activity in wealth management, many firms run the risk of becoming bloat ed and bureaucratic. There is a certain charm and accessibility that smaller, boutique firms in the wealth management space retain that seems lost in a big, sprawling mega firm. This is also true of wire houses where whole teams are lifted out of one firm and move to another, as if their clients are hostages. Our firm’s approach to these changes is simple: to identify those wealth management firms in which our own bespoke approach to client service will be most welcomed.

How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organization?
There is no substitute for experience. Hence, we try to immerse our colleagues in direct contact with clients as much as possible, allowing them to learn by doing. The more responsibility they as sume the better, as our business is mainly about helping a client navigate the art market to greatest advantage and success. The quicker a colleague learns how to do this through day to day ex perience the sooner they will become proficient at understanding and meeting a client’s specific needs.

The art market, above all, is about beautiful things. Hence, we draw enormous inspiration from this realm of paintings, deco rations, jewelry, furnishings and countless other objects. It is a thrilling, glorious experience to be working in the art market, and every day is an inspiring one.

SS&C Black Diamond® Wealth Solutions is a comprehensive suite of technology solutions and services for wealth manage ment firms and trust companies. More than 3,300 firms, repre senting over $4.3 trillion in AUM, rely on Black Diamond to manage operations, engage clients, and drive sustainable growth.
What has been the most impactful innovation you introduced, and how has it shaped client outcomes?
The work on developing and launching Black Diamond Trust Ser vices’ suite of solutions focuses on how clients operate. Tradition ally, trust companies haven’t leveraged the same sophisticated front office technology tools as the RIA space. SS&C saw an oppor tunity to move away from disconnected, siloed systems and build a unified, front to back trust solution. Black Diamond’s suite of trust services brings together specialized tools, including an immersive client portal, advanced CRM capabilities, and dynamic reporting, to streamline operations, enhance client engagement, and support scalable growth through a configurable platform built specifically for trust organizations.
We advanced the idea through SS&C’s innovative Tech Accelerator program, which was designed to create a channel to fund in house business concepts, built a business case, and secured funding to bring it to life. Seeing it implemented and adopted by clients has been incredibly rewarding.
What makes it especially meaningful is the impact. The integration has improved workflows, strengthened client engagement, and provided better operational oversight. The real accomplishment is making life easier for our clients.
Establishing this connected foundation also positions trust compa nies to leverage emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. These tools can automate routine processes, surface insights, and improve decision making across the organization.

What is a key challenge in wealth management, and how are you positioning your business to meet it?
Talent remains a significant concern. As many experienced trust operations professionals retire, firms are reckoning with a lack of available, trained, early and mid career staff to replace them.
At the same time, the work isn’t getting any simpler. That combi nation is pushing companies to rethink how they operate, including outsourcing parts of their back office to reduce key person risk or fill capability gaps.
We’re addressing this through SS&C Black Diamond Managed Ser vices, which enables trust companies to scale operations without in creasing headcount. Firms can choose targeted operational support or a fully managed back office while retaining fiduciary control.
This fully integrated managed services model combines fiduciary expertise with technology and operational support. The suite helps wealth management firms streamline functions such as cash man agement, securities processing, income administration, reconcilia tion, reporting, and other operational workflows through standard ized, scalable processes. Our goal is to empower companies not only to outsource work but also to deliver results; help them scale efficiently while delivering strong client service.
What does winning this award mean to you, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
I’m honored to be recognized as an industry leader, particularly as a woman in this space, and grateful to work for a company which values and supports women in leadership.
Above all, I hope this recognition encourages others, especially women, to pursue careers in the trust and retirement industry. There is tremendous opportunity in our field, and it’s an area where you can make a real impact.

Brett Schlemovitz President StepStone Private Wealth Solutions
StepStone Private Wealth Solutions, the private wealth division of global pri vate markets investment firm StepStone Group, is dedicated to offering fi nancial professionals and their clients private market investments that are accessible and transparent, supporting thoughtful evaluation of long term port folio strategies. StepStone serves a broad range of clientele, including institutions, family offices and private wealth clients globally. Assets under management across its wealth platform have tripled in the last 18 months, exceeding $17.8 billion in AuM as of March 31, 2026.
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
One of our most meaningful areas of innovation has been developing resources and structures intended to make private markets easier for financial profession als to evaluate and implement within client portfolios. Private markets can be complex, and advisors often need clear educational materials that offer practical implementation support, in addition to transparent information that helps frame client conversations. Our focus has been on reducing unnecessary complexity while maintaining the rigor required in this asset class. This includes advisor education, more streamlined access points, regular reporting and resources designed to sup port informed decision making. Rather than viewing innovation solely through a product lens, we view it as an ongoing effort to improve how advisors understand, discuss and evaluate private markets with their clients.
How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?
Our culture is grounded in a client focused mindset, executed with discipline and collaboration. The private wealth market requires teams to be responsive, precise and thoughtful in how they communicate complex investment concepts. We em phasize accountability, strong cross functional partnership and a commitment to continuous improvement. StepStone Private Wealth Solutions also benefits from being part of StepStone’s broader global private markets platform, which allows the team to draw on investment expertise, operational resources and data driven insights from our proprietary SPI by StepStone database. The combination of spe cialization and shared knowledge helps us maintain high standards as we continue to support the evolving needs of financial professionals.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
• Asset Management Firm Serving Family Offices and Private Banks Winner
Over the next five years, advisors will likely face a more complex investment land scape, growing demand for personalization and continued questions around li quidity, transparency and risk. As private markets become a more frequent part of wealth management conversations, education will remain essential. We are positioning our business to support advisors with clear resources, disciplined in vestment perspectives and practical tools that help frame private markets as part of a broader long term portfolio discussion. Our goal is to be a partner to advisors as they evaluate where private markets may fit, based on each client’s goals, risk tolerance and investment horizon.

SumIt — Purpose-Built Family Office Software

TRUSTED BY

SumIt was named Best Technology Start-Up last year and just won the 2026 Family Office Accounting Software award. What does that progression tell you about where the company is headed?
For us, it's proof that the market is moving in the direction we always believed it would. Our industry needs a specific general ledger that's easy to use, and our awards tell us that both the solution and the company are right. We don't take this recognition lightly. It reflects the trust our clients have placed in us and the commitment our team has to this space.
Take us back to the original thesis. What problem were you solving?
Family offices have always been underserved by accounting software. The tools available were either built for small and medium-sized businesses, like QuickBooks, or for large corporations, like Sage, but neither handles the specificity of family offices well. This industry needs a multi-entity general ledger built for them — one that consolidates across multiple layers of entities, runs cash flow statements with sources and uses of cash, and does all of that in a way that is genuinely easy to use. We built SumIt to be exactly that, integrated from the start with BILL for billpay and Addepar for investment reporting.
You mentioned you're now entering a second phase of growth. What does that look like?
Phase one was about getting the foundation right — general ledger accounting done exceptionally well. Phase two is about going deeper into what makes accounting unique for family offices,
including partnership accounting, the release of our dedicated allocation module, and an AI-driven general ledger that becomes a system of action through MCP connections. It also means expanding our integration ecosystem significantly. We're exploring opportunities with new partners for billpay, investment reporting, alternative investment management, and more.
How do you stay grounded in what clients actually need as you scale?
Talking directly to single- and multi-family offices has been part of how we operate since day one. We recently formalized that into an official Product Advisory Board. The people in this cohort use SumIt daily, across 40+ families. We meet quarterly, and it directly shapes our roadmap. Our recent innovation, our MCP connection, came directly from client feedback.
What do you want potential clients to know about joining SumIt?
You're not just another account to us. You're a partner in building something. Every piece of feedback shapes the product, not just for you, but for the entire community of family offices we serve. We typically get clients to live in three months, but can do as little as 4—8 weeks depending on complexity. What keeps clients with us long after go-live is knowing their voice continues to shape where the product goes. It matters who you build with.
A solution that meets your needs today may fall short in a few years if it isn't growing alongside the market. We build in lockstep with our clients, so using SumIt means staying current with where this industry is headed.

True wealth is more than just assets; it is the collective intelligence, values, and history of your family. Yet, in a digital world, that legacy is often fragmented and vulnerable.
Summitas Platform® is the bridge between generations. We provide a single, secure environment where families and their trusted advisors unite to organize, protect, and share the information that defines their lives.

To learn more, schedule a demo today at summitas.com/contact

At Summitas, we provide a secure client engagement platform used by single family offices, multi-family offices, and wealth advisors to unify communications, reporting, and document workflows. Our platform supports firms representing over a quarter-trillion dollars in client assets, helping them increase client retention, improve operational efficiency, and significantly reduce cyber risk through a centralized, hardened environment.
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
Our most impactful innovation has been the continued evolution of a unified client experience — what we describe as a “single pane of glass.” Wealth management firms typically operate across multiple disconnected systems, each with its own interface, security model, and data structure. We abstract that complexity and present clients with a single, cohesive experience across all systems.
The result is meaningful on two fronts. For clients, it dramatically improves usability and engagement, especially across multi-generational families. For firms, it reduces operational friction, simplifies integrations, and materially lowers the cybersecurity attack surface by minimizing data sprawl across tools like email, shared drives, and legacy portals.
What role has collaboration — either internally or with external partners — played in your success?
Collaboration has been central to our growth. Internally, we operate with a highly aligned product and client success model, where feedback loops from clients directly inform our development roadmap. Externally, we partner closely with leading portfolio and data providers such as Addepar and Orion Advisor
Dan Gregerson Chairman & CEO Summitas, LLC
• Client Communications (Excl. Reporting)
Solutions, enabling us to integrate seamlessly into the broader wealth technology ecosystem.
These partnerships allow us to deliver value without requiring firms to replace existing systems. Instead, we unify and enhance them — preserving prior investments while elevating the overall client experience.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
The industry faces three traditional challenges: rising cybersecurity threats, increasing client expectations for digital experiences, and the complexity introduced by fragmented technology stacks — often the result of years of organic growth and M&A. Our platform directly addresses all three. By centralizing client interaction within a secure environment, we reduce exposure to cyber risk. By delivering a modern, intuitive interface across web and mobile, we meet the expectations of both current and next-generation clients. And by decoupling the client experience from backend systems, we give firms the flexibility to evolve their technology stack without disrupting clients.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
Recognition from the Family Wealth Report Awards is meaningful because it reflects validation from both peers and independent experts. More importantly, it reinforces our mission — to help wealth firms deliver exceptional, secure, and enduring client relationships. We will use this recognition to expand our reach, deepen our partnerships, and continue investing in innovation. Our focus remains the same: enabling our customers to grow, differentiate, and serve their clients at the highest level.

What does winning this award mean to you, your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
For Tamarind Partners, this recognition affirms a belief central to our work: families do not thrive on structures alone. They thrive when people can speak honestly about wealth, understand their roles, make thoughtful decisions together, and steward financial, human, and social capital with intention. Tamarind Partners advises ultrahigh-net-worth families and family offices through governance, succession, rising-generation engagement and complex transitions, often across multi-year journeys involving 20—40+ family members. Winning 'Best Family Wealth Counseling', alongside recognition of Dr. Kirby Rosplock’s 'Outstanding Contribution to Wealth Management Thought Leadership', reinforces our commitment to bringing rigor, empathy and practical frameworks to the human side of wealth.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
The greatest challenge is not simply market volatility or regulation; it is readiness. Families are becoming larger, more global and more complex, at the same time, next-generation owners are asking deeper questions about purpose, voice, transparency, technology and impact. Many families have sophisticated planning but lack the shared language and learning architecture to govern together. Tamarind Partners is positioned for this moment by integrating family wealth counseling, governance design, succession planning and education into a coherent advisory process. We help families move from technical planning to lived capability.

Kirby Rosplock - Founder & CEO Tamarind Partners Inc.
Torri Hawley -Chief Learning Officer (USA) Tamarind Learning Inc.
Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving?
A recurring Tamarind Partners engagement begins with a family at an inflection point: ownership is transitioning, governance is unclear, and family members have very different levels of confidence, knowledge, and voice. Rather than beginning with a pre-set answer, we slow the process down. We listen across generations, map decision rights, clarify roles, and create a learning pathway so each person can participate more effectively. The shift often comes when a difficult conversation becomes a constructive one — when silence, assumption or anxiety gives way to language, mutual respect and shared responsibility. That is the essence of our counseling work.
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
Our most meaningful innovation is the way Tamarind Partners converts deep advisory experience into applied thought leadership families can use. Kirby’s writing, speaking, the Tamarind Learning Podcast, and educational work extend the insights we see in the field: trusteeship as a purposeful role, education as risk management, and stewardship as a practiced capability rather than an inherited title. While Tamarind Partners remains the advisory home for this work, these thought-leadership channels help families and advisors encounter ideas before, during, and after engagements. They make the work more durable, giving families language, tools, and frameworks that continue long after a meeting ends.

Anne Lyons Founder & Strategic Advisor
Judy Boerner-Rule Principal & CEO Tapestry Associates
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
The challenges we see most acutely are not in portfolios, but in clients’ lives. As wealth grows in scale and complexity, the gap between financial sophistication and operational reality widens. Families may have exceptional investment advisors, tax counsel, and estate attorneys, yet still find themselves overwhelmed by the weight of what they own, the people they employ, the vendors they manage, and the transitions they are navigating. Closing that ever-widening disconnect is where Tapestry excels.
UHNW families are accumulating more assets: more properties, more staff, more specialized service providers, without the integrating frameworks to make them function cohesively. We expect this to intensify. Alongside it, the staffing crisis in private service is deepening. Finding, retaining, and managing high-caliber household staff is one of the most consequential and legally exposed aspects of private wealth. And as families navigate divorce, generational restructuring, elder care, and other defining transitions, the need for an advisor who can operate at the human level, not just the financial one, has never been greater.
Our work begins where the scope of traditional advisory naturally ends. Not because that advice falls short, but because the personal and operational dimensions of wealth require a different kind of presence entirely.
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes?
The most significant development of the past year was the expansion of our proprietary Human Resource Advisory, designed specifically for UHNW private households. Staffing has always been central to our work, but we recognized that clients needed more than placement. They needed a structured, integrated framework that addressed
the full arc of the employment relationship: organizational design, compensation benchmarking, legal compliance, service culture and delivery, and retention.
We built that framework and integrated it directly into our Organizational and Operational Assessments and into the comprehensive ecosystem mapping that sits at the heart of Tapestry’s advisory. The result is that staffing decisions are no longer made in isolation. They reflect the client’s lifestyle, the property’s functional demands, and the long-term vision for how the household should operate and feel.
The outcomes have been measurable: stronger compliance, lower turnover, and households that function with greater consistency and calm. More importantly, clients report something harder to quantify. Relief. The sense that a system is finally in place that will hold.
What does winning this award mean to your firm?
Tapestry has always worked quietly, by design. Discretion is not a feature of what we do. It is the foundation. Recognition of this kind matters because it affirms that the work done in these private, often invisible spaces has genuine value and deserves a place in the broader conversation about excellence in wealth advisory. We are proud to represent this category, and we carry this recognition forward as an invitation to raise the standard further.

FAMILY FIRST
Aligning values, purpose, and generations.
BEYOND RETURNS Investing with discipline and foresight.
Stewarding more than wealth. Building a legacy that lasts.

LEGACY IN ACTION Philanthropy. Leadership. Lasting impact.

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently?
The most impactful innovation was building the enterprise itself — structuring a multi-generational family office as a Delaware Statutory Trust from the outset rather than retrofitting later. Most family offices of our size discover the limitations of simpler architectures as they grow. We built a five-tier governance structure — Trust, Corporate Trustee, Operational Holding, Enterprise Layer, Operating Subsidiaries. Every entity formed since then slots cleanly into an established framework.
Within that structure, we deployed nine AI-powered platforms covering grants management, portfolio rebalancing, USPTO monitoring, and multi-entity reporting — purpose-built for a 30+ entity family office. The efficiency impact has been material: operational leverage allows us to focus human attention on judgment, not administration.
How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organization?
Leadership development is generational by design, not by aspiration. John Shelton Howell IV has been designated Successor Trustee and VP of Development — not as a courtesy title but as a structured transition role with governance authority that activates upon succession triggers embedded in the Trust Declaration. He participates in entity-level decisions today, because the best preparation for institutional leadership is institutional responsibility.
The breadth of the enterprise — healthcare operations, patent commercialization, real estate development, charitable governance, music publishing — means the next generation inherits a platform, not a single-industry operation. Families who confine next-generation leaders to observer roles until the principal steps back are making a governance error. We are correcting for that from the beginning.
John Shelton Howell III Founder, CEO & Managing Trustee
What does winning this award mean to your firm?
It means the model works — and that it is visible. The Family Wealth Report Healthcare Services award recognizes what we built and how we built it. H&L Venture Group's BrightStar Care franchise delivers measurable healthcare impact in the East Richmond community while generating operating revenue that funds the broader enterprise. That integration of commercial performance and community service is precisely what we set out to demonstrate.
This recognition matters beyond our firm because of what it signals to other families — particularly those from communities historically excluded from multi-generational wealth structures. We entered because the work was real and the structure was sound. Using this recognition means continuing to build visibly and making the case that institutional-grade family office governance is not the exclusive domain of established dynasties. It is a discipline. It can be built. We are building it.
Where do you draw inspiration for innovation?
Mostly from outside the wealth industry. The structures that inspire us most are institutions designed for permanence: university endowments, sovereign wealth funds, conservation trusts. These organizations operate across time horizons that outlast any individual contributor. That is the standard we hold ourselves to — rarely discussed in the context of single-family offices below the billion-dollar threshold.
Tesla's open patent philosophy directly shaped our IP licensing strategy for AITCH Technologies. The insight that adoption at scale produces more value than exclusivity revenue cuts across industries. We applied it to a portfolio of USPTO green technology applications and built a commercialization framework around acceleration rather than restriction. Innovation travels better when you are looking at problems from outside the industry that contains them.

At Trust Company, we understand that wealth is more than numbers; it’s the values, stories and decisions that shape your family across generations.
As a North Carolina-based, independent wealth manager, we proudly partner with families and institutions to help preserve what matters most. Our approach is grounded in trust, guided by experience and designed to evolve with your family’s changing needs.

For over three decades, the employee-owners at Trust Company of the South have guided the financial futures of families, businesses and endowments. Overseeing $4 billion in assets across more than 300 households, the team provides highly individualized investment management, wealth planning and fiduciary services rooted in a genuine desire to improve clients’ lives. This focus on personal connection results in a 97% retention rate, with over 75% of clients staying on board across multiple generations.
The group unites investment direction, risk assessment, tax strategy and estate planning to make wealth management straightforward. They prioritize long-term stability and sound decision-making across the board, managing philanthropic giving for private households while also providing governance counsel for mission-driven organizations.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
The most urgent challenge isn't a market cycle or a regulatory shift. It's a structural one. This profession has spent decades building expertise around the profile of a client that is fundamentally changing. The families we will serve tomorrow look different, communicate differently, and carry expectations this industry hasn't fully prepared for. If the professionals advising those future families don't reflect and understand them, the trust that sits at the core of this profession will be hard to earn. That guides how we hire and grow. More than 60% of our advisors and analysts are under the age of 45, and 40% of our management team are women. We're building a firm for the next generation of families who will inherit, create and grow wealth, and those clients deserve advisors who have earned the right to their trust from the beginning.
How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?
Ownership, in every sense of the word. Approximately 40% of employees at Trust Company of the South are equity owners in the firm. When people have a genuine stake in the outcome, they show up differently, for each other and for clients. Beyond the ownership structure, we've built a culture where no task is beneath anyone. Our CEO has personally driven hours to meet with clients, just because the relationship required it. That kind of example sets a standard that others see and follow.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
• Women in Wealth Banking (Individual) - Westray Veasey, J.D. Winner
It reflects something this firm has believed for a long time: that the advisors who will carry this profession forward are already here, earning trust one family at a time. This recognition is about a direction. We will continue investing in the people and practices that make this kind of work possible. And we'll keep asking whether we're truly prepared to serve the clients who are coming, not just the ones we already know.

Gene Farrell CEO Vanilla
• Technology Start-Up Winner
What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
The V/AI Suite. We embedded AI into the core of estate planning — from Copilot, which answers complex questions across document sets in seconds, to tools that surface planning opportunities and model strategies in minutes.
The result: work that once took hours now takes minutes, allowing advisors to deliver sophisticated planning at scale. For clients, V/AI helps ensure more consistent, comprehensive advice by surfacing opportunities and risks that might otherwise be overlooked.
What role has collaboration — either internally or with external partners — played in your success?
Collaboration is built into the product. Beyond software, Vanilla pairs technology with in-house Abstraction Services and a network of 100+ vetted estate attorneys across all 50 states, giving advisors access to both operational support and licensed legal counsel.
Externally, partnerships with firms like BlackRock, Osaic, and Betterment, along with key platform integrations, allow us to meet advisors within their existing workflows. Estate planning succeeds when advisors, attorneys, and clients are connected — not siloed.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
Two challenges stand out. The first is rising client expectations. Fee compression has been the talk for a while, and the truth is fees have not come down significantly. Instead, clients increasingly expect more value from their advisor beyond portfolio management. Advisors need ways to demonstrate value beyond returns, and estate planning is one of the clearest. The second is the shift from reactive to proactive advice. Clients increasingly expect their advisor to surface what they should be thinking about before they have to ask.
We are positioning for both by moving estate planning from a specialty service into a growth lever every advisor can offer, and by making proactive planning easier to deliver. That is the meaningful shift ahead, and it is where we are placing the next chapter of the product.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
Recognition like this validates a conviction we have held since day one: that estate planning belongs at the heart of financial advice, not off to the side as a specialty. From V/AI Copilot to Estate Summaries to the only patented technology in the industry, every innovation has been purpose-built to help advisors deliver sophisticated planning at scale.
Going forward, we will use this recognition as proof for the advisors still deciding whether estate planning belongs in their practice. It signals that the category is maturing and that the firms investing in it now are building the kind of practice clients never leave. It is less a finish line than evidence we are on the right path.

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?

Values also shape how we serve clients. By aligning financial strategies with personal values, we aim to help our clients leverage their portfolios to create lasting positive change in their lives and in the world.
How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organization?
We look for talented and skilled professionals of all backgrounds who bring a genuine commitment to impact and then we invest in their growth. Advisors and other staff members are encouraged to engage in learning and development opportunities and supported in that work through firm policies. This year, Veris introduced a mentoring program to support professional development and goal achievement and strengthen collaboration across roles and departments.
What does winning these awards mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
We believe that these accolades indicate that our approach is resonating with the broader industry and that inspires us to keep striving. Our proprietary EDI due diligence framework — which classifies investment managers across five tiers of inclusivity — represents a level of analytical rigor that we believe is still industry leading.
We seek to demonstrate that integrating equity and inclusion into investment practice is not at odds with financial rigor — but can actually enhance it. We hope other advisors and firms will be inspired to adopt similar standards. Our work continues until inclusion is the norm across wealth management, not the exception.

WE Family Offices helps families feel in control and confident, competent and successful about the decisions they make around their wealth enterprises. We deeply care that our clients’ legacies endure, so we ask questions and listen carefully, bringing together resources, experts and tools to ensure a family’s entire financial ecosystem works in concert with their objectives.
Today, WE serves over 100 families across the U.S., Latin America and Europe. As a founding member of the Institute of the Fiduciary Standard, WE upholds a fiduciary culture grounded in client-first values, transparency and a business model fully aligned with families’ interests.
What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?
The families we serve are navigating increasing complexity, across generations, geographies, and an ever-evolving landscape of decisions. WE has always been focused on staying at the forefront of major shifts in the wealth management industry, and that commitment guides how we evolve and grow. Our focus remains on giving families the confidence, clarity, and long-term control they need to manage that complexity. We are positioned exactly where we have always been: close to families, acting solely in their best interests, and fully aligned with their long-term vision.
Where do you draw inspiration for innovation, within the wealth industry or beyond it?
The families we serve are our greatest source of inspiration. Seeing families gain clarity and confidence in their future reminds us every day why this work matters. We are also grateful to be part of a community, through organizations like The UHNW Institute, that shares our belief that families are best served when we all raise the standard together.
What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?
Being recognized in this way is a reflection of the families we serve and the trust they place in us. It affirms that staying true to our core beliefs, fiduciary responsibility, independence, and advice-only service, continues to matter. Most importantly, it is a reminder of why we do this work, and it deepens our commitment to the families who count on us every day.

Jim Marks CEO WealthHub Solutions
WealthHub Solutions won two awards at the 13th Annual Family Wealth Report Awards 2026: 'Best CRM System' and 'Best Onboarding Solution'. We spoke with Jim Marks, President and CEO, about what the recognition means, what the judges saw in WealthHub, and where the platform is headed next.
Jim, WealthHub won two awards this year. What does that mean to you and the team?
Winning two awards in the same year is genuinely humbling. Best CRM is our fourth win in that category, which means something different than the first one did. It tells us that we are not just solving a problem once and moving on. We are staying relevant, staying ahead, and continuing to earn the confidence of our family office clients year after year. Adding Best Onboarding Solution is particularly meaningful because it recognizes the true innovation we are bringing to family office technology and one that our clients tell us makes a real operational difference from day one of a new relationship.
What did the judges recognize about WealthHub's CRM this year?
The citation described WealthHub as delivering a purpose-built CRM that simplifies multi-generational relationships, oversight of complex structures, and special asset management, with out-of-the-box workflows and a client-focused experience that enhances efficiency and transparency. That is exactly what we set out to build. Trust companies and family offices are not running sales pipelines. They are managing fiduciary relationships across generations, legal structures, and asset classes that generic wealth management software was never designed to handle. We built WealthHub for that reality, and it is gratifying when an independent panel of judges sees what our clients already know.
The onboarding award is new for WealthHub. What problem does that module solve?
Onboarding a new trust or family relationship is one of the most complex processes in financial services. Before WealthHub, most firms were managing it through email threads, shared drives, and manual follow-up. Things fell through the cracks. Timelines slipped. The client experience suffered at the very moment it mattered most.
Our new digital onboarding module brings the entire process onto one platform, from data collection and document generation to e-signatures and workflow tracking, so nothing is missed and the client feels the professionalism of the firm from the first interaction. The judges called it a transformation of one of financial services' most challenging tasks into an efficient, transparent, and client-friendly experience. That is exactly what we were trying to do.
What does winning both awards in the same year say about where WealthHub is headed?
It says that the platform is maturing in the right direction. CRM and onboarding are not separate problems. They are connected moments in the client relationship, and when both work well together on a single platform, the whole operation improves. Our roadmap continues in that same direction: deeper integrations, more automation, and tools that help family offices and trust companies do more for their clients without adding operational complexity. The families these firms serve deserve that, and so do the professionals who serve them.

Willow Street provides trust and fiduciary services from our offices in Reno, Nevada and Jackson, Wyoming. Our purpose is to support the enduring strength of a family’s legacy across generations. As pure fiduciaries, we collaborate with families of wealth and their advisors to establish and administer custom Nevada and Wyoming trust structures.
As Willow Street has continued to evolve and grow, what has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?
Over 30 years ago in Jackson, our founder began working with a single family — a client we proudly continue to serve today. We have grown one family at a time since our official founding in 2005, offering responsive, relationship-focused fiduciary services and defined by collaboration, technical rigor, and thought partnership. Today, we administer nearly $70B for over 330 wealth creators and stewards in the US and abroad.
As client needs have evolved, so has our platform. Today, Willow Street provides professional trustee services through our publicly chartered trust companies. We also specialize in advisory, governance, and operations for private family trust companies working with clients and advisors to establish and administer these entities.
Our most significant recent initiative was the integration of a Nevada -licensed trust company, formerly Laurel Trust Company, earlier this year. More than a name change and geographic expansion, this was a deliberate step to strengthen our platform and serve increasingly complex families.
Our teams are now unified within a single leadership and operating structure, offering the same thoughtful, relationship-driven approach that has always defined Willow Street. Client families and advisors now benefit from streamlined access to multijurisdictional planning solutions, deeper technical expertise, and a more

seamless service experience across complex trust structures. Internally, the integration increased consistency and strengthened scalability, while allowing us to thoughtfully integrate the strongest systems, processes, and operating practices from both firms to further enhance efficiency and support our continued growth. Most importantly, the integration allows Willow Street to maintain a deeply personal approach while supporting multigenerational families with growing complex and global reach.
What role has collaboration — either internally or with external partners — played in your success?
Willow Street is an intentionally boutique firm, offering the deep expertise and diverse experience of a large organization with the hands-on attentiveness of a small practice. Collaboration is fundamental to how Willow Street operates. We pride ourselves on developing meaningful relationships with our client families and their broader advisory teams. We work closely with each client’s legal, tax, investment, and family office teams to navigate the multidisciplinary and often multijurisdictional aspects of our work. This ongoing coordination supports proactive planning, regulatory compliance, and well-informed decision-making.
Our growth reflects the strength of these relationships. Advisor referrals are our primary source of new business, with a meaningful proportion of prospective clients introduced by professionals who have partnered with us repeatedly. Notably, we have never entered into referral incentive arrangements with any external parties — a reflection of the trust, reputation, and long-term relationships that continue to drive our growth.
Internally, collaboration enables us to deliver consistently at scale. Our team brings diverse experience while operating within a unified framework, ensuring clarity, accountability, and continuity for clients. Ultimately, our success is driven by the quality of our people and the strength of the partnerships we maintain — both within the firm and across the broader advisory ecosystem.
