Traulux Holofix is a holographic and ultra-transparent LED screen that is designed to create high-impact floating images. It generates an authentic holographic effect, without the need for projectors or glasses, thanks to its advanced high-transparency LED technology. Its modular, lightweight design means it’s suitable for sectors where visual impact must coexist with the aesthetic of the space. According to Charmex: “It’s about creating immersive experiences where the technology disappears visually and only the message remains.” Traulux Holofix uses an external IC driver developed in-house, mounted on the rear of the metal mesh that makes up the 120x75cm cabinet. This allows the front to be reserved exclusively for the LED lamp, optimising heat dissipation and significantly reducing the risk of overheating. The ImPulseV virtualised audio mixing engine runs in a cloud-native AWS environment and supports low-latency processing, flexible routing and real-time mixing. Able to be accessed globally, it uses a familiar Calrec interface and can be controlled via the Assist web UI or any Argo or True Control 2.0-enabled console. The company claims a cost-effective OpEx model also opens opportunities for smaller productions previously limited by hardware requirements. Calrec says True Control 2.0 allows users to embrace distributed production, minimise costs and scale resources on the fly. Users can control any Calrec system from any location, accessing additional cores, faders, surfaces and control to meet production needs. The system provides full control over EQ, dynamics, routing, direct outputs and delay.
