No matter what kinds of cuisine we love, in the end Arabian food has it’s own special place in our hearts. Countries of the Arabian Gulf (Khaleej) have their national favorites and special takes on popular dishes. We thought we’ll explore the area a bit and see what we could find. So, here are the popular Arabian dishes and where you can find them in Sharqiya. This is for all you seafood lovers out there with a penchant for Khaleeji flavor. Made simply of shrimp and rice, the spices are similar to the motabag.

the shrimp and season it makes this place reign at the top of all traditional specialty restaurants. Plus, the shrimp and rice combination makes of wholesome meal that satisfies our seafood and carbs craving all at once!

Chicken Kabsa

The mighty kabsa is the most versatile of Khaleeji dishes, to the point that every region has its spin on it. It’s also considered the national dish of Saudi Arabia, and consists of long-grain rice and chicken, meat (lamb, beef or camel), or fish cooked in various ways.

Where to get it: Baize Verdict: You can’t go wrong

with kabsa, and Baize didn’t disappoint. The portion is good for one person. We love the generous amount of roasted nuts garnishing the dish.
