Little Bit of Country has been in the heart of Sapulpa since 1992. Diane Gloden started her business with craft shows on weekends until Gary, her husband, suggested she start her own store. The rest is history. Diane has created a modern-day mercantile with local craftsmen and artists from all over. It is filled with a wide variety of business such as GG Forge, Western AnvilArtisan Metals, Stepper’s Shine, and HotShots Healthcare.

Diane Golden
Owner of Little Bit of Country
Diane and Little Bit of Country are the perfect example of determination and hard work found in Oklahoma women. Diane explained she could not have done it without the support of her family and friends. Her hard work and determination along with her love for customer service have helped her build Little Bit of Country into the successful business it is today. When I asked how she balances work and home, she admitted it was not always easy. She is always finding a happy medium while being willing to give and take to balance it out.
Like most small businesses, Covid-19 has presented difficulties. Diane is doing the absolute best to keep her customers safe by increasing the store’s sanitizing routine. Her ability to bounce back when times get hard have helped.
Diane’s advice for new business is to be active in community events and get to know the neighboring businesses. Little Bit of Country participates with the Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce and Sapulpa Main Street Organization with events like the RT 66 Blowout Car Show and Jingle N’ Mingle. Diane’s dedication to the Sapulpa community and her business are the keys to her success.
