Logo contest winner
The Galveston County Daily News sponsored the logo design contest for the It’s Your Time! Women’s Conference. The prize was $500, and the winner was Lana Lovchikova. Lana has a degree in graphic and web design from College of the Mainland and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Far East Federal University in Russia.

Lana moved to Texas in 2010 and enjoys working on logo designs and conveying a story with shapes, symbols and colors. She likes being creative and is passionate about typography and every chin, dot, tale, stem, bowl and serif that letterform is made of. Her favorite colors on the color wheel are black and white.
