All Classes Florida Reunion

Who: All Classes of CC Alumni and Family What: Mass, Dinner, Camaraderie, CC Fellowship Where: Sharky’s on the Pier - Venice, FL Owned by Mike Pachota ’71 www.SharkysOnThePier.com When: Saturday, March 18, 2023 Noon - 4:00 p.m. Greetings, Fellow Alumni and CC Family,

I am excited to report that the STEM construction has begun and is in full swing. This project is a true game-changer for CC and, once completed, will greatly enhance the student experience on campus.
The Annual Alumni Dinner and All Classes Reunion is scheduled for April 27, 2023, at St. Mary’s Cultural Center in Livonia. The 2023 Fr. Canning Harrison, CSB Distinguished Alumnus Honorees are Mr. Frank Jonna ’67 and Dr. Larry Schenden ’79. Please mark that date in your calendars and plan to join us to celebrate with your fellow alumni.
The purpose of the Alumni Association is embodied in the mission statement which appears to the left of the President’s letter every month. In essence, we exist to increase engagement with the school, its current students, and among alumni.
I know we are all busy with our lives, family, jobs, etc. While recognizing the many things competing for your attention, I urge you to consider carving out a sliver of time (for yourself) to engage with your alma mater and fellow alumni. I guarantee you will feel refreshed and fulfilled from the experience. Consider stopping by the school for a look around, participate in one of the many events/activities sponsored by the Alumni Association or the school, or have a less formal get together with your friends from CC.
It’s not easy finding time to do the things we have to do, let alone the things we want to do. I can tell you without hesitation that every time I attend a CC event, I come away enriched and reminding myself that the effort was rewarded many times over. You are a part of the CC Family, and that involvement did not end when you graduated. Rather, that was just the beginning. Take advantage of your relationship to this wonderful community. Engage. You will be happy you did.
As always, it’s a great day to be a Shamrock, and God loves you!

YOUR CLASS SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Every CC alumnus has the opportunity to help other young men live the CC experience through their class specific scholarship fund, helping them achieve their goals, earning a CC diploma, and becoming men of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge.
The students who receive class scholarship fund assistance are in good standing with the school and qualify for need-based tuition assistance.
The reality of this generosity is that without it, many CC graduates and classmates would not have received a CC education or experience.
Each of us and a gift, regardless of the amount, makes a difference.
Please support your class scholarship and the young men of CC by going to www.catholiccentral.net/ giving/make-a-gift.
