JANUS ROSTOCK Regional Director, Lead Design + Planning & Economics, Head of Concept Architecture, AECOM Janus Rostock joined AECOM in June 2018, after having worked for almost 12 years with Atkins in both Middle East and Europe. Rostock is an awardwinning RIBA chartered architect, urban designer, and masterplanner with over 20 years of experience. He received his M. Arch from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture, Copenhagen, after having spent a year at l’Ecole d’Architecture de Paris Belleville in Paris. Rostock has been a vital part of some of the challenging and prominent projects in the region like Dubai Opera, Baku Waterfront, Dubai Creek Harbour, and many more. Rostock is also a member of The Danish Management Society (VL-94) MENA and was a founding board member of the Danish Green Building Council.

Rostock is working on the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh, Saudi Rail Organisation (SRO), KSA which includes strategic planning for optimisation of SRO land and property assets, and he is also managing the Dubai Harbour Ancillary buildings which feature the design of three buildings—parking structure, civil defense, and FM division.

MEDY NAVANI CEO, Design Haus Medy Medy Navani is an interior designer and architect and founded Design Haus Medy in 2006. Navani has more than 230 bespoke projects as a part of his impressive portfolio. His design studio offers a full range of services including architectural design, master planning, historic restoration, landscape design, interior design and programming. Navani specialises in residential, commercial, multifamily, retail, hospitality, and community projects. Emaar, Emirates, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Tourism, and Government of Dubai are a few of the esteemed commercial clients, with noteworthy public commissions including Dubai Financial Market (DFM), Ras Al Khaimah Hospital, and Skyview Tower in Dubai Marina.

CURRENT PROJECTS

Navani is currently engaged in multiple distinguished projects for the Royal family of Umm Al Quwain, a German WWII bunker restoration of a residential project, and the soon-to-be-revealed ‘Desert Igloo’.
