Alexander & Michael Christou

Brothers Alexander and Michael Christou were born to a family with a history in property with their grandfather setting up a commercial refurbishment company which ran successfully for over 40 years. Alexander and Michael Christou studied at Eton and graduated from UCL, and Alexander went on to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps into the luxury property market, while Michael pursued his singersongwriter dreams in LA. Fast forward to 2011, and the brothers set out to create a new benchmark in luxury interior design in London. Alexander and Michael spent years sourcing the very best that the residential world has to offer in home décor, from finishes and cutting edge technology to working with the leading bespoke specialists. Belgravia, London, based 1.61 London’s key role is to source and create luxurious homes for their clients in the best properties in the world. Utilising their extensive experience within the property sector, they are able to offer their clients a one-stop-shop service across the residential property sector.

What projects are you currently working on/have recently completed? We are working on a number of projects for private clients in Mayfair, Belgravia and Hampstead as well as some country estates in Surrey and Kent. We are also working on a 200 unit new build development coming to completion in Southwark called Brigade Court.
