ABOVE: Alta Ego Submitted by: Design Intervention The street level lounge plays easy listening music and we have created an intimate, yet striking space that stands out from the competition but at the same time has a warming inviting vibe. In the basement bar the DJ will play hip hop music and our brief was to create an uncomplicated backdrop that would complement the simple beat. On the upper level, we have created a luxurious area for private members and VIP guests that oozes a richness but at the same time has an edgier, cooler undercurrent that complements the house music that is played here and distinguishes the club from it’s competitors. The golden angular bar with the Rhino heads has become a real talking point in town.
LEFT: Hotel Michael at Resorts World Sentosa Submitted by: YWS Design Surrounded by luxury and elegant details, guests find sanctuary the moment they walk through the front doors of this boutique hotel. Located within Asia’s ultimate resort destination, Resorts World Sentosa, Hotel Michael is one of six hotel offerings at the complex. This boutique hotel has been a delight for art enthusiasts since its initial opening in 2010 with its art gallery-like guest rooms that pay tribute to American contemporary architect, Michael Graves.
LEFT: Shilla Seoul Submitted by: Remedios Studio The hotel is synonymous with quality and great service and Remedios Studio wanted to maintain this reputation while appealing to a younger demographic, and without losing its existing, loyal clientèle.
