A Murder is Announced

A Murder is Announced is based on the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie. The play takes place in a sitting room in the home of Letitia Blacklock (Coco RoseCoates) called Little Paddocks.

One October on Friday the 13th, a typically uneventful day becomes tense when Bunny (Elizabeth Swan) sees an ad in the newspaper which states that a murder will occur at 6:30pm in Miss Blacklock’s Victorian house.

It turns out that the victim is not one of the house’s several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic puzzle where an eccentric inspector (Odin Vargas) takes the lead in discovering who did it along with help from Miss Marple (Ella Feilmeier). With many twists and turns, they uncover mixed motives, concealed identities, and even a second death!

This humorous show keeps the audience on the edge of their seats while the mystery unfolds.
