Year 2018 has been a year of so many for DCWD - many encounters, demands, challenges, and changes. All these were hurdled with dignity and honor, marking a “caliber 45” kind of milestone year in service.

This last issue for the year banners the accolades for remarkable accomplishments in terms of Freedom of Information, water safety, certification standards, stakeholder partnerships, customer satisfaction, and celebration of people and events.

Noteworthy are the successful campaign to turn plastic wastes into school chairs and the tapping of the youth arm to cause a multiplier effect to the community in terms of raising awareness and concern for the environment.

Other highlights include the back-toback awards and certification, the active participation in the 18-day campaign to end violence against women and children, and the result of the Customer Satisfaction Survey for 2018. Also, we celebrate people through recognizing the movement of some personnel and paying tribute to our officers whose service to DCWD has ended.

These are just few of the many reasons why DCWD is brought to its fruition at 45 - a very good reason for celebrating and living its beauty, excellence, and reverie for the 45 years in operation.

So we end the year with a bang!

Not from a .45 caliber pistol but from a caliber of seasoned service that outstands others while maintaining our stand to give the people of Davao City the best water service they deserve.
