Oxford School Of Architecture - Year 3 - Semester 2 - The Story Of Memories, Something To Not Forget
----------------------------------------------------
The use of modular, dismountable elements proposes a mobile architecture that can be located in different places, according to the needs of the inhabitants and their occupations.
The path is a changing place where different activities can be carried out.
Instead of being anchored in a heavy, solid building, mobile, adaptable, and reusable architecture can generate activities and adjustable public access.
The building is:
- A system of connections
- An experiment of a mobile dementia centre (a contrast to all old people’s centres).
Alzheimer’s, dementia or elderly centres are static, interspecific, inflexible, and unhelpful as they enclose the freedom of a human being.
