1967 The Massachusetts Bar Foundation (MBF) President’s Award recognizes individuals who embody the Foundation’s commitment to advancing equal access to justice. The 2025 recipient, Hon. David G. Sacks, was honored for his lifelong dedication to fairness and equity within the justice system, as well as for his committed service as an MBF grant review volunteer. Judge Sacks received the award at the MBF’s Western Massachusetts Grantee Reception on October 23, 2025, at Western New England University School of Law.
1975 Alastair Browne released his second book, Building the Space Infrastructure: Developing the Cis-Lunar Neighborhood, in April 2025. In it, he examines how humanity can create a sustainable and flourishing presence beyond Earth. His passion for space exploration has long been evident even as a student at Cushing — his first book, Cosmic Careers, was published in 2021.

1985 Brett Torrey writes, “After leaving Cushing in October 2025, I moved home to Manchester, VT following 35 years in schools and began a new chapter as a caretaker at Stratton Mountain. I now oversee about 90 condominiums in a community called Ober Tal, handling everything from A to Z. It’s been incredibly rewarding to put my handyman skills back to work, and even more meaningful to be home again, surrounded by
