LIGHTS, GLITTER, ACTION, ON THE SPARKLE WALK

More fundraising heroics from our team as six colleagues take part in the Hospice for the Good Shepherd “Sparkle Walk” around Chester…

The Sparkle Walk is a fun, social parade featuring hundreds of participants walking around the streets of Chester at night. The 5k route makes its way past the famous sights of Chester, including the Town Hall, Chester Cathedral, Eastgate Clock and the River Dee.

Six of our team took part in the 5k night time walk around Chester City Centre including Solicitor and Director Adele BebbingtonPlant, Solicitor and Associate Director, Louise Holmes, Solicitors Sarah Butt and Kainat Jones, Senior Paralegal, Sarah Gill, and Legal Secretary Rhodri Roberts.

Arranged as a fundraising event by the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, the walk began at 10pm from Chester Castle and meandered in a loop around the city, bringing an array of sparkle, lights and neon to the dusky streets of Chester.

Louise said: “This event was great to be part of! Being held at night brought a really different feel to other charity fund-raisers which we have supported and made for a fantastic team outing.”

The Hospice of the Good Shepherd believe that everyone in Cheshire West, Chester, Ellesmere Port and Deeside should be able to access excellent end of life care and support. At the Hospice the needs of patients, their families and their carers always come first and are at the heart of everything they do.
