I am a former South African rugby union player who played as a winger. I am also a former Springbok rugby player during the period in which I played for the Cheetahs franchise in the Super 14 tournament and the Free State Cheetahs in the domestic Currie Cup competition. I have also represented Boland Cavaliers, the Stormers, the Eastern Province Kings, Falcons, and the Sharks.

I made my international debut against Argentina on the 9th August 2008 and scored a try as the Springboks won 63–9. In my third game, I became the first Springbok player to score four tries against the Wallabies in a test match where we walked away with a 53–8 victory at Ellis Park Stadium.

Role
I ensure that the players meet the physical demands of a rugby game. This includes programming and implementing training methods that improve physical qualities such aerobic endurance, strength, power, speed specific for a student athlete. Other duties are implementing recovering methods after matches and tracking player load during the season.
