n w o r B TH After a 45 year hiatus, Australian mid-century designer TH Brown is back and has landed at Case22 Byron Bay. Local business, Case22 prides itself in being a destination of the most sought-after mid-century furniture finds. The showroom,

nestled in a laneway in the Arts and Industrial Estate, houses the area’s greatest collection of design objects from Eames, Hans

Wegner, Børge Mogensen and more. And whilst their catalogue

of items are primarily sourced from abroad and pre-loved, owners

Aaron Treloar and Kincade Wilks were very excited when they were

approached by the grandson of famed Australian furniture designer 42 www.byronlifemag.com

TH Brown and son of mid-century designer Peter Brown, to discuss stocking the re-issue of an Australian design icon – their famed Danish Bar Stool.

‘We were really excited to even be considered’, says Kincade, who heads up the Byron Bay operation. ‘It made sense to us to stock

these stools. They’re stunning and crafted beautifully and stand for

what we value here at Case22 - original, solid and beautiful design.’ The TH Brown brand has produced many of the most sought-after

mid-century, retro furniture pieces ever produced in Australia. Iconic in design and highly coveted, these original examples have become heirlooms and are seen in many magazines, exhibitions and design showrooms around the world.
