This course teaches the principles of basic life support for adults. The course details handsonly CPR, first aid, choking in adults, signs, and symptoms of heart attack and stroke, and treatment for shock. It explains how AEDs work, and why they are a critical part of emergency cardiac care. Certification is valid for a period of two years. DEMING LOGGING SHOW 2022 Dates: June 11 – June 12, 2022 Location: Deming Log Show Grounds 3295 Cedarville Rd Bellingham, WA 98226 Description: Deming Log Show is a nonprofit organization benefiting busted up loggers and their families. Home to the Annual Deming Logging Show, and other events. Originally established in 1963, our show was inspired by the need to financially assist loggers who were injured in the woods. Our grounds come alive the second full weekend in June each year for our annual Deming Logging Show with events and exhibitions to display the skills, tools, and technology used in the logging industry. A nonprofit organization, the Deming Logging Show relies on the support of local people, businesses and volunteers to support families of loggers who have been injured or killed on the job. The Deming Log Show features 31 events and exhibitions demonstrating the talents and strengths of local loggers. Don't miss axe throwing, speed climbing, log rolling, chainsaw bucking and the ironman. The show starts at 1pm each day with eliminiations starting at 11am on Saturday only.
