he 31st annual West Virginia Construction and Design Exposition was held March 24 and 25 at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, W.Va. Equipment, products and services offered by nearly 300 exhibitors were viewed by the nearly 6,000 attendees who traveled from 26 states to take in the show. Those in attendance were professionals involved with construction, design, public works or infrastructure construction and maintenance, and trade professionals and service professionals providing industry support. In addition to the expo itself there were more than 50 seminars and meetings to attend. Many of the seminars offered continuing education credit. Among the topics covered during the seminars and presentations were Soil Bioengineering Techniques, West Virginia Zoning Law Updates, West Virginia Infrastructure and Jobs Development, Financial Management Strategies and Environmental Regulatory Changes. The show also served as a meeting place for several trade associations and professional societies.
