Raimondi Cranes
Raimondi Cranes (Raimondi), founded in 1863, is a heritage European manufacturer of cranes across four ranges: topless tower, luffing jib, hammerhead, and self-erecting. Recognised globally for its contribution to innovative solutions in the heavy lifting machinery segment, Raimondi Cranes is headquartered in its heritage home of Legnano, Milan, Italy. Acquired in 2013 by KBW Investments (KBW), Raimondi has since seen a market resurgence and improved footprint across several of its established markets, together with reinvigorated market support, loyalty, and confidence. The renewal of global interest in Raimondi’s products largely stems from the aggres-
sive turnaround measures put into place post acquisition by KBW. The turnaround measures included restructuring, expenditure analysis, redistribution of existing assets, an increase in tier one talent acquisition in both technical and commercial spaces, marked resources allocated to research and development (R&D) that allowed for new product launches, highly active marketing public relations and advertising schemas, and the institution of a multitiered digital presence. The newly-launched Raimondi MRT234 topless tower crane enjoyed strong presell interest with purchase confirmations from clients in several countries and has already been shipped to two countries.

Other recent successful launches include the MRT159, a topless tower crane model, and the LR213, a luffing jib crane model. Both launches were highly anticipated and enjoyed excellent presales by new and existing customers. In addition to the manufacturing of cranes, Raimondi also produces relevant accessories including crane cabins, elevators, collars, travelling units, and climbing cages. The innovative approach to the Deluxe R16 crane cabin has generated an additional revenue stream for Raimondi and continues to receive market accolades for its solution-based design enhancing operator viewing fields leading to increased onsite agility and safety.
