ondon can be an expensive city to visit, but, here’s a list of free or very cheap things to do while on a London trip! 1. Museums: London has a lot of culture to offer. It is considered to be the cultural capital of the world. A lot of the museums in London have free vesting hours or days. So be sure to get your culture fix! 2. Guard Mounting: you know how there are always some “must see” things or places on every city? Well, you have not visited London, unless you witness a “Guard Mounting,” - no it’s not what you are thinking! It’s what Londoners sometimes call the “changing of the guard,” and it’s completely free! This takes place outside of Buckingham Palace at 11:30 am, Horse Guards Arch and at Windsor Castle the ceremony takes place at 11:00 am. Get there early if you want to get a spot.
4. I see you!: London Eye, the tallest ferris wheel in Europe, provides the best views of London and some unforgettable pics, especially during the sunset, definitely worth the not too expensive price. 5. Shakespeare’s Globe: highlights the works of Shakespeare. Ticket prices range from cheap to the not so cheap, but whether you go to see a play or just take a tour, the experience will delight everyone. Have a student ID? Use it for discounts. 3. It’s ok to stare: there is absolutely gorgeous architecture, pretty much all around London. So don’t be afraid to stare and take some great pics. We recommend Big Ben, the Palaces of course, the Old Royal Naval College, The Tower Bridge, and so much more!
