o do this, we provide the technology that is needed to best understand the use of wood in construction. For example, we develop wood design standards to ensure the best technology is used in buildings through these standards’ references in building codes. We also offer free apps and calculators to help with quick span calculations or to allow verification that a design meets code requirements. And, we host in-person and online education courses so attendees can choose the most convenient way to stay up-to-date on codes.
