tients and take pride in our success rates which are above the national average. Our patients can access an app that provides information and reduces the need for written forms and it also allows patients to watch their embryos grow in the incubator.

“Looking to the future, we plan to expand our fertility services and number of Fertility Specialists at the Bella Vista clinic. We recently welcomed Dr I-Ferne Tan, an experienced O&G and Fertility Specialist with two young daughters of her own who specialises in endometriosis and recurrent pregnancy loss.

“We will also expand the Bella Vista clinic to offer state-of-the-art surgery with shorter wait times for patients. In the future, we aim to offer at-home fertility options to better serve our patients.

“We promote our business through various platforms such as local newspapers, online community blogs, women’s health magazines, radio, billboards, and social media.

“At Genea Bella Vista, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients, and we look forward to helping more couples achieve their dream of parenthood.”

“I was also preparing to move houses and packing boxes, despite not knowing where I was going, learning about who I was and how to love myself again and striving to be the best mother I could possibly be, I rejected my employer’s partnership proposal at the top tier international law firm based in the city and decided to be a partner of my own firm in my local community based in my kitchen/lounge room. And in 2021, Greenleaf Legal was born.

“I was determined that, in working for myself, I would truly be able to have the career that I had been craving my whole life and yet still be home in time for dinner with my munchkins. And for the last two years, I am pleased to say that I found that perfect balance with no more 2am finishes -well, perhaps 10pm finishes on average but it is still an improvement.

“Leaves are a sign of hope and new opportunities, hence the origin of the name, Greenleaf Legal. “Through my business, I am now able to help others go through a difficult time in their lives and kick-start their next chapter as fresh and positively as possible.”

Amanda’s new signs of hope

AT the age of 30, back in 2017, Amanda Elias Principal Solicitor at Greenleaf Legal was offered a partnership proposal in a top tier international law firm in the city.

Those 12 years of working until 2am most days, preparing for hearings, complying with Court Orders and servicing global clients, had finally paid off for Armanda.

“But in climbing up the corporate ladder and chasing my dreams to partnership, I lost my family. To my shock and surprise, my husband of 10 years had decided to leave,” said Amanda.

“Essentially, my husband had decided to pursue a life with someone else and I had no choice in the matter but to accept it and move on with my life as a newfound single mother to a 5yo and 6-week-old at the time, as emotionally and financially stressful as that was going to be. And so it was.

“Fast forward to today some six years later and after representing myself on my own divorce matter apart from many a night breastfeeding a newborn in tears whilst preparing financial settlement documents.
