I’m one pretty pup if I do say so myself. People seem to love my adorable freckles! I celebrate my 2nd birthday (in human years) next month and there’s nothing I want more than a family and home to call my own! I’m also a big fan of treats and hard chew toys to keep me occupied in the boring shelter. I even know a couple tricks and I’ll show them off for a treat! I’m a playful pup and I like other dogs, so I’d like to have a canine sibling! I’d like to meet them first because I like to play right away and not all other dogs are into that. I would also enjoy having little humans in my family! The folks at the shelter recommend kids 8 and up who are “dog savvy.” If you want to take me home, please fill out an application to foster or adopt me at:

So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 REFLECTION: Beginning last Friday night, up to this coming Sunday morning, is what Christians call Holy Week. These eight days changed the world over 2000 years ago. It began to change from a pagan ruled society to a Christ centered society. Holy Week begins with the ceremony of Christ’s entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. Holy Wednesday is when Judas begins his plan to betray Jesus. Thursday night Jesus gives his final teachings to His disciples and institutes the Last Supper. Good Friday is a time remembering Jesus’ dying on the Cross. The eighth day concludes on Easter morning with Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead. The above verse from Colossians tells us that being raised with Christ means you have accepted these following truths: You have submitted your life to the authority of God your Creator; you have accepted the truth that you have sinned and caused others to sin against God; and you desire to confess your sins and ask God’s forgiveness. This is done by praying these words, Lord Jesus please forgive me of my sin and set me free from its bondage. By accepting Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, all past, present, and future sins are forgiven. God grants us the gift of eternal life! Find a church this Easter Sunday and enjoy your new inheritance. Life with Christ is wonderful! The gates of heaven have been flung open for those in Christ. We have crossed over from death (curse of sin) to eternal life by the physical resurrection of Christ on Easter morning. PRAYER TIME: We praise you this Easter Sunday. Change our lives and our hearts to be messengers of the joy and hope that comes from accepting Jesus Christ’s resurrection. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. Need a Bible? Stop by our Little Library, located in front of our building. We have complimentary Bibles and other Christian literature available.
