Enjoy exceptional musical performances sure to have you on your feet! Okorie "OkCello" Johnson is an award-winning American cellist-songwriter whose artistry integrates cello performance, live-sound-looping, improvisation, and storytelling - all culminating in original compositions that collide classical with jazz, EDM, reggae, and funk. Okorie has performance and recorded with major celebrated artists such as Indie Arie, De La Soul, and Big Boi of OutKast, amongst many others.

Member Family Day

Sunday, April 28 // 1 - 5 PM

Members and their families are invited to this afternoon of fun and interactive activities in the reimagined Museum. Experience an exclusive first look at the new children's gallery and garden before the Museum opens to the public.

Museum On Tour Passport Day

Wednesday, May 1 // 4 - 8 PM

Museum On Tour passport participants with two or more stickers are invited for a sneak peek of the Museum prior to our Public Grand Reopening.

Member Preview Night

Thursday, May 2 // 4 - 8 PM

Members are invited to experience an additional intimate open house of the reimagined Museum featuring tours of the updated gallery spaces.

Public Grand Reopening Weekend

Saturday, May 4 // 10 AM - 10 PMSunday, May 5 // 1 - 5 PM

The Columbus Museum's Public Grand Reopening kicks off at 10 AM on May 4 with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by two days of nonstop fun and interactive programming and activities, including a special Silent Disco on Saturday evening!

This weekend will include artistic performances, docent-led tours, a mystery scavenger hunt, collaborative art making, children's story time, food trucks, giveaways, and our Saturday night silent disco!

Enjoy performances by local artists from the Rainey-McCullers School of the Arts, Springer Theater Academy, Youth Orchestra of Greater Columbus, Voices of the Valley, Columbus State University, and many more.

The public reopening weekend is free and open to the public, making it the perfect opportunity for families, art enthusiasts and history buffs, and the community at large to come together and celebrate the vibrant cultural scene in Columbus!
