Coleman Creed Ledbetter was born in Waller, Texas, where wide open land, horses, and strong family traditions shaped his life. Growing up on a horse ranch down the dirt road from his Grandparents gave him a childhood rooted in steady work and appreciation for the outdoors. His days often started with chores around the ranch and ended with fishing or walking the land. That early rhythm of responsibility and freedom gave him both discipline and a lasting bond with nature. Waller, to him, was more than just home. It was there that he learned the importance of responsibility, honesty, and community values, which continue to guide him through his studies, work, and personal life. In 2021, Coleman graduated from Waller High School and went on to attend Texas Tech before transferring to South Plains College. He expects to finish college in 2026. His plans after graduation include becoming an electrician. Coleman Ledbetter views learning as a means to acquire fundamental skills that will serve him in the long term. He respects the trades because they involve building something with his own hands, work that is both practical and rewarding. Training as an electrician provides him with a sense of independence while still leaving room for other creative interests. Music has always had a strong place in Coleman’s life. From an early age, he was surrounded by family playing guitars and singing around the campfire. His father and grandmother played, and Coleman followed along. Over time, what started as a family tradition became his own pursuit. Today, he sings, writes songs, and plays guitar in a way that falls naturally into country music. The connection is easy to understand since the style reflects his roots and upbringing. Coleman has also played live shows in Lubbock, including one at Bashas, a known spot for young performers. His inspiration often comes from Texas itself, the outdoors, and the people closest to him. Music gives him both expression and stability.
