WALK! BIKE! ROLL! CELEBRATING BIKE SAFETY MONTH
May is National Bike Safety Month, and it’s the perfect time to get outside and experience College Station on two wheels (or two feet). From morning commutes to evening rides around the neighborhood, biking is more than just a way to get from point A to point B. It’s part of what makes our community active, connected, and fun. That’s why the City continues to invest in safer streets, expanded bike routes, and shared-use paths designed for everyone, no matter your age or ability.
But this is just the beginning. We’re building the future of how College Station moves, and your voice matters. The City is developing a new Active Transportation Master Plan to shape safer, more connected options for walking, biking, and rolling across our community. Where should we go next? What would make you feel safer or more likely to ride? Whether you’re commuting, exercising, or just enjoying a ride with family, this month is a great reminder to ride smart, stay safe, and be part of the movement shaping College Station’s future.
