Step 1 With the bottom tray flipped out and clicked in place, lift up the arm on the Guide and slide the paper under until it aligns with the edge of the tray.
Step 2 Close the arm (magnets will hold the paper in place) and flip the bottom tray back into place.
Step 5 Holding down the Guide with one hand, press down on the lever with the other hand to create the border design. Continue moving the Border Maker along the Guide, aligning to each notch, and pressing the lever to complete the border.

Step 3 Insert the cartridge into the Border Maker until it clicks in place, raising the white lever.
Step 6 Lift up the arm on the Guide to release the paper.
Step 4 Slide the edge of the paper into the slot on the Border Maker and line up the notch on the lever with the notch on the Guide arm.
Step 7 Remove the cartridge by pressing the button on the back of the Border Maker.
