CLEMSON RADIO NETWORK

The Clemson radio network, which is produced by Clemson Tiger Sports Properties in conjunction with Learfield Sports, can be heard throughout South Carolina, as well as portions of North Carolina and Georgia on a strong lineup of radio affiliates. The complete list of affiliates can be found on ClemsonTigers.com. Many broadcasts are also carried by SiriusXM radio. Each broadcast is streamed on ClemsonTigers. com. The broadcast begins coverage of each men’s basketball game 30 minutes before tipoff with the Tiger pregame show, which includes pregame thoughts from head coach Brad Brownell and analysis from the crew. Following the game, our broadcast crew conducts a review of the game, complete statistics and highlight packages. The broadcast also includes a postgame interview with Brad Brownell, allowing Tiger fans to hear Clemson’s head coach and his comments on each and every contest. Tony Castricone begins his third season as Clemson’s play-by-play voice in 2016-17. Castricone was named the voice of Tiger basketball following a national search in September 2014, and has enjoyed a successful run in his first two seasons with the Tigers. Castricone had spent the previous four years serving as play-by-play talent for several affiliates of the IMG Sports Network, including filling in on games for Michigan, Ole Miss, East Carolina and several others. He also called IMG’s national coverage of several

tournaments, including the ACC, SEC and American Athletic Conference. Assistant athletic director Tim Bourret will serve in the color analyst role again this season. The native of West Hartford, Conn., is in his 37th full season providing color commentary for Clemson basketball, the longest active tenure among color commentators in the ACC in any sport. Bourret celebrated the 1,000-game mark in 2015-16 against his alma mater, Notre Dame. The 1977 graduate of the South Bend, Ind., institution has done play-by-play with Clemson football, baseball and basketball. He co-authored a book, Basketball for Dummies, with ESPN’s Digger Phelps and Sports Illustrated’s John Walters in 1997. In 2004, he published Tales From The Hardwood, documenting Phelps’ 20-year run as Notre Dame’s head coach.

DON MUNSON “Tiger Calls” Host

The Clemson radio network also produces “Clemson Basketball with Brad Brownell,” a 30-minute television show with features on the coaching staff, studentathletes and highlights. The show typically airs for the first time each December, and concludes in March. “Tiger Calls” will continue to be broadcast throughout the season. Don Munson hosts the call-in show where fans get a chance to talk with Brownell on the air about the team. A schedule of “Tiger Calls” is available online at ClemsonTigers.com.
