Collection takes place Monday through Thursday and begins at 7 AM. Find your garbage/recycling collection day by entering your address on the Trash & Street Sweeping Map at www.cityofrockhill.com/garbage. Rollcarts can be placed at the curb no earlier than noon the day before collection and should be removed by 7 AM the day after collection. The green rollcart is for household garbage, and the brown YardCart is for yard waste. Garbage must be bagged and fit inside the cart, with the lid closed. The City will collect additional bags left outside the green roll cart, however applicable charges will be applied to your utility account. Due to the operation of automated trucks, please: • Make sure that the lid opening on your carts face the street. • Place your carts no more than six feet from the street. • Keep your carts clear of other objects. It must be at least four feet away from all other items, such as mailboxes, recycle bins, cars, etc. Extra garbage can be taken to the York County convenience centers.
