Council policy allows one blue domestic, one yellow recycling and one green garden bin per rateable property. All bins remain the property of the City of Charles Sturt and must stay at the property even if the home is sold.

Residents can purchase additional bins and services by contacting our Customer Contact Team on 84081111 and making the order with a credit card payment over the phone. General waste is collected weekly, with green waste bins and recycle bins collected fortnightly on alternate weeks. To find out when your bins will be collected, visit our website at charlessturt.sa.gov.au/threebinservice or download the My Local Services App to receive a weekly push notification straight to your phone. Please call the Waste Hotline on 1800 777 844 for: • Collection enquiries - including missed collections; • New or replacement bins; • Damage or theft of bins; • Conduct and courtesy of vehicledrivers; • Hard Waste Bookings. Hard Waste Collection Charles Sturt residents are able to book up to two hard waste collections per financial year. Each Household can place up to a maximum of 2 cubic metres (2m x 1m x 1m) of hard waste on the kerbside for collection.

Electronic and Other Waste Electronic waste (E-Waste) and larger amounts of general household waste can be delivered to our Beverley Recycling and Waste Management Centre at 2-6Toogood Avenue, Beverley Phone 84081350 Open: Monday to Saturday 8.00am to 4.00pm, Sunday 8.00am to 1.00pm (Closed on Public Holidays) Fees apply for some items. Kitchen Caddy for Food Waste

Using a kitchen caddy with compostable bags is an easy and efficient way to recycle food scraps. Your kitchen caddy can live on the bench top or under the sink. When it's full, tie off the compostable bag and place it directly into your green organics bin. You can grab a free kitchen caddy at our Civic Centre (Woodville) or any of our five Libraries, just drop-in during opening hours and bring some ID to show you are a Charles Sturt resident or visit our website to order online for home delivery charlessturt.sa.gov.au/ kitchencaddy
