PICKLEBALL LEAGUE
• 5:30 PM on Sunday’s • Ward Park • $40/team • Register by June 19
2v2 play with teams being either coed or same gender. Teams will play five consecutive Sunday evenings to determine their seeding for an end of the season tournament. This league will last 6 consecutive Sundays. All equipment is provided, you are more than welcome to use your own paddle. Registration deadline is June 20th. Games begin June 26th.

Vesper Hall is a nationally accredited Community Center that offers a variety of activities for individuals ages 50 and up that like to stay social, healthy and active.
WEEKLY NUTRITIONAL LUNCH
Served Monday - Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m. A $3.50 donation is suggested for ages 60 and up and for those who are disabled. A fee of $5.75 is required for age 59 and younger. Reservations must be made at least one day prior to guarantee a meal. Cancellations must be made prior to day of reservation.
HOME-DELIVERED MEALS
Available for home-bound individuals in Blue Springs and Lake Tapawingo who are 60 years and older or disabled persons age 18-59. Meals are delivered Monday-Friday and a $3.50 donation is suggested. Contact Vesper Hall to receive more information.
Meals programs are cosponsored by Mid-America Regional Council. Federal funds assist in the cost of meal planning and preparation.
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
The City of Blue Springs offers transportation services for residents 60 years and older and adults with disabilities ages 18-59. The City contracts with OATS Transportation Services for medical and/or shopping trips within Blue Springs. Door-to-door pick-up and return to Vesper Hall 50-Plus Community Center for lunch is co-sponsored by MidAmerica Regional Council. Buses can accommodate up to two wheel chairs and nine other passengers.
