Jamey is currently a full professor at Northern Kentucky University and the Coordinator of the musical theatre program. In 2006 he received the Outstanding Junior Faculty Award from the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to directing and musical directing, Jamey has composed several theatrical works with writing partners Ken and Christine Jones. Cast recordings for The Day Before Christmas, A. Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale, BurgerTown, and Church Girls, Umatilla U.S.A. are commercially available. These and his original song, “Holy Holy,” which was written for the television show Divine Will, are also available for download on iTunes.

His musical directing credits include: Xanadu (Thomas More College), Failure: A Love Story (NKU), Little Shop of Horrors (Union Community Theatre), Vortex of the Great Unknown (Cincy Fringe Festival), and Schoolhouse Rock, Live! (The Footlighters, Inc.). In 2008, Jacob won the Kentucky Coca-Cola Talent Classic competition for his performance of Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in C# Minor. Jacob has also performed with Cincinnati Landmark Production’s Incline Theatre, Commonwealth Theatre Company, The Carnegie, and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park’s production of The Secret Garden.

Born at Dayton’s Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Jay Goodlett attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) in Cincinnati for nine years, majoring in dance, drama, and musical theatre. By the age of 18, Jay joined the Cincinnati Ballet and rose quickly to the rank of Senior Soloist by 2002. Jay enjoyed 17 seasons with the Cincinnati Ballet, retiring in 2008. In 1991, Jay began his career as a choreographer. He has worked

Jacob is a local pianist, actor, and music director. A native of Louisville, Jacob just received a bachelor of arts in music and theatre from Northern Kentucky University. He has served as Assistant Music Director for several NKU productions, including Les Misérables, Legally Blonde, and South Pacific.
