Christopher Portelli belongs to a small category of executives: the engineer who took on a profit-and-loss statement and never gave up either side of the job. A United States Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal veteran with more than two decades spent building organizations on Long Island, he has led SONOTEC US Inc. as Managing Director and President since 2013, growing the American entity of German ultrasonic technology manufacturer SONOTEC GmbH from one employee and no customers into a fifteen-person organization supporting eight figures in annual revenue. Alpha Performance Clinic, a men's health and hormone optimization practice with locations in East Setauket and Bohemia, New York, is his as well, and Christopher Portelli lives in East Setauket. Technical depth alongside commercial accountability, and service beginning in the Navy and continuing through two decades in a volunteer fire department, are his constants. MITEQ Inc. in Hauppauge, New York, gave him his start from 2001 to 2004 as an associate engineer and senior technician on microwave and RF components for defense and satellite communications customers. At Veeco Instruments in Plainview, New York, from 2004 to 2007, his system engineer and product manager role covered system engineering and full product lifecycles for advanced semiconductor and industrial process equipment. Chris Portelli spent the following six years converting engineering fluency into commercial results.
