Join us as we pioneer a new format adjusted to this unique and changing time — we’ve kept the same in-depth Bible study, but moved off campus! This fall we will offer individual small groups at a leader’s home and online virtual small groups. Both in-home groups and virtual groups will discuss the Bible study questions and listen to a teaching time with the Women in the Word teaching team each week. We have a limited capacity for in-home groups so they will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our series this fall is the story of God’s faithful love and salvation for His people continued in the book of Joshua as the Israelites enter and possess the good land of Canaan. It’s a story of victory! God encourages His people with His constant presence and the strong leadership of Joshua, and the people respond with faith, courage and obedience. JOIN US this fall as we learn to recognize God’s constant presence in our own spiritual battles and learn to walk with Him in obedience.

WHO WE ARE The Women’s Ministries of Christ Chapel have a passion to proclaim Christ to women of all ages and backgrounds. We desire to teach, encourage and prepare women for ministry both within the church and in the community. It’s our goal to help each woman understand her value in God’s kingdom as well as her unique gifts and purposes in God’s plan for eternity. We want to walk beside women as they journey towards maturity and grow in their dedication for passing that maturity on to other women. We invite you to join us in this journey and mission, and be part of what God is doing through women in His kingdom. You will find new friends, a deeper relationship with God and new purpose in life as you worship, connect, grow, share and serve with the women of Christ Chapel Bible Church.

Our world seems to always be changing, but isn’t it great to realize that God never changes? During these stressful times it’s easy to lose sight of that truth. In the Side by Side mentoring ministry there are women who would love to be a support to remind you of who God is. If you want to know God more and live out the peace that passes all understanding, we would love to connect you with a mentor. Wondering how you can help? You have walked with God for quite a while. You love to follow His plan for your life and you love other women who desire the same thing. That means you are the kind of woman who other women need! Grab your calendar and circle Saturday, Sept. 19 for the Side by Side Mentoring Workshop. We will work through a mentoring workbook and provide testimonies and discussion to equip you to impact the faith of a younger woman. What the world needs now is women who are anchored in their faith. God can use your faith and friendship to bring that about. ALL GENERATIONS of Women Joining to Celebrate ALL LIFE Fighting for life for all ages and in all stages has defined Christ Chapel for years. Currently we support five partner pregnancy centers focusing on the preborn and their families in Tarrant, Parker and Johnson Counties: Pregnancy Lifeline, Fort Worth Pregnancy Center, Grace House, Human Coalition and Next Step Pregnancy Center. Would you consider joining us in these partnerships? Many Christ Chapel women have prayed and labored to fight for lives on a local and national scale. Among them are Hannah Witten and her mother, Sara Scheideman. Their passion and commitment overflow, starting with the preborn and carrying though the end of life.

Their theology, and the developments in science, have underscored their personal commitment to all life, starting with the preborn. “Knowing that the Lord knows us even when we are without form absolutely takes my breath away. He cared for us even before we entered the world!”

Sara’s passion for life started when she gave birth to her 22-week-old son who lived for three days, “just long enough for us to touch him and sense his spiritual marrow.” Hannah credits her mama with teaching her “how beautiful and priceless life is.” Hannah’s experience with infertility and miscarriage only deepened that commitment. Both Hannah and Sara have volunteered to support life in countless ways: through pregnancy centers, through advocacy groups fighting abortion and through organizations helping the vulnerable who have been trafficked.

Both Sara and Hannah invite women, and men, of all ages to join them in this passion. “All generations are valuable so all generations need to use their unique gifting to celebrate that. From the baby in the womb, to the family living below poverty, to the elderly in their final days, we are all God’s children.”

Being a Mom

in these changing times can be challenging! We can feel overwhelmed and forget that God did not intend for us to do our “mom jobs” alone. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, but encouraging one another.” Moms Groups are a great place to pray together and encourage one another through the joys and struggles of motherhood. Whether you are just beginning this journey or have years of motherhood and grand-mothering experience, there is a place for you in a Moms Group. Moms Groups meet once a month and are open to all ages with daytime and evening meeting options. Sign up here.

Many people love the book of Romans for the theological depth detailed by the author, Paul the Apostle. But you can also find much about practical Christian living within the book’s chapters. In fact, chapter 12 is essentially a description of love in action. From how to serve others well to the importance of hospitality, examples of Christian living are detailed to motivate us all. Let’s jump into this book together!
