Dawning a New Day CHKD marks historic opening of Children’s Pavilion, improving access to inpatient mental health care
A new era in pediatric mental health care began at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters when the first 12-bed inpatient mental health unit at Children’s Pavilion officially opened to patients in October of 2022. In anticipation of this momentous occasion, we held a dedication ceremony along with special celebrations to thank those who were instrumental in helping us reach this milestone.
